The issue of innovation activity in business has been relevant for quite a while now, oftentimes, it is a survival factor for an enterprise. However, it is not only the innovation activity of enterprises that is relevant, but also the research models of such activity. This article deals with innovation activity model and its implementation in practice. We can consider a research model as a program or plan of research. It can be represented both in a diagram based and a descriptive form. It offers the possibility to link theory and empirical data obtained in the course of scientific research, and also enables their subsequent interpretation. In order to develop a model for innovation activity research in small and medium sized enterprises, analysis of theoretical and empirical methods of scientific research in tourism was carried out. A number of theoretical methods, such as formulation of a hypothesis, assimilation, analysis and others were used as the basis for the model. However, the model is basically built on the empirical method, namely, the method of sociological survey. The model under discussion was tested in 2019 and later applied again in 2020. The number of respondents taking part in the survey were 69 tourism companies (56.9%) in 2019, and 71 (58.5%) in 2020. The geography of the use of the research model can also be expanded. In particular, the authors plan to test it in Kazakhstan, which does not fully use the existing high tourist potential.
Introduction. An increase of the Earth population leads to the necessity to increase food production. To ensure world food security, it is necessary to increase food production compared to the current time by 70%. The solution to this global problem is possible due to the modernization of the economy using digital technologies and artificial intelligence. Despite the fact that Kazakhstan, at present, has significant potential in food production, even its own needs are not fully provided. The article discusses the possibility of digitalization of the agricultural market of Kazakhstan in order to increase the volume of milk production and processing, increasing the competitiveness of dairy products, realization of the export potential and ensuring food security of the country. Aim and tasks. The aim of the study is to justify the need for the adoption of digital technologies in the agricultural market of Kazakhstan. Results. The article discusses the concept of the term "digitalization of the economy" in the world and its spheres of application. Practical examples of digitalization in countries with a developed economic system and the need for their usage in order to transfer to the digital structure of the agricultural market are given. The volumes of milk production in Kazakhstan over the past 3 years are analyzed. The reasons for the incomplete plant capacities of milk processing enterprises and the low level of marketability of dairy farming in Kazakhstan are identified. The rationale is given, that the use of digital technologies and other positive effects associated with their use will contribute to the improvement of the quality of milk. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, the constraints on the development of the dairy industry in Kazakhstan were identified and it was found that most of them can be solved using digital technologies. The solution of these problems is possible with the aid of creation of information platforms and technological re-equipment, conditioned upon organizational, legal and financial support of the state. It was substantiated that the integrated use of digital technologies in the agricultural market of Kazakhstan along the entire product distribution chain from raw milk to sales to the final consumer will help to reduce costs, improve the quality of milk and dairy products, labor productivity, as well as to transform the workforce of the industry.

This research paper debates some issues concerning a sustainable dairy industry in Kazakhstan in straight relation with environment management and innovation management. The qualitative and quantitative growth of the dairy industry, the production of milk and dairy products, increasing the profitability of production is based on the active use of the innovative component. Environmental factors and other issues as profitability decrease of production, the risks of not mastering innovations make this industry subsidized and unattractive for attracting investment. In order to assure the sustainable functioning of the dairy industry, mechanisms are needed to improve the implementation of priority areas for its innovative development, to ensure a decrease in the volume of imports of dairy products. The active use of environmentally friendly technologies that reduce the negative impact on soil and water, as well as technologies and infrastructure for the disposal of animal by-products, should become the basis for the sustainable development of the dairy industry.
