We present the features of a 32-bit educational microcomputer kit f-palette with an extension module intended for educational material that “does not constrain students’ creativity.” We actually used the educational material at the Department of Advanced Robotics, Chiba Institute of Technology, as a verification test. We give outlines, results, and discussions on the “robot experience practice” from the first semester, 2010.
morph3 is a compact-size humanoid robot that is able to generate acrobatic motions such as somersaults and gymnastic motion. A new mechanism and control system, i.e. a real-time joint compliance control system and tactile sensing shells on its body, make acrobatic motion possible. In this paper, the design concepts and construction of morph3 are described.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
