Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari penerapan Big Book melalui tes pada uji kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Big Book ini disusun menggunakan metode RnD Research & Development. Pengambilan data dilakukan di 3 MIN Kabupaten Langkat. Fase penelitian adalah mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Tingkat kelayakan dari validator ahli media diperolah 86.87 ahli design 88.3 ahli materi dan 87.3 ahli bahasa. Hasil uji coba terbatas 71,80. Sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar pada 3 MIN di kabupaten Langkat di peroleh 89.00. Dan Signifikan test sebesar 0,000 < 0,005 dimana Ha diterima.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi media evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis android serta mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Hight Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis android pada mata pelajaran Praktikum Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang kelas XI AKL di SMK Al Ikhlas Pangkalan Susu Kabupaten Langkat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap, yaitu: 1) Analysis (Analisis); 2) Design (Perancangan); 3) Development (Pengembangan); 4) Implementation (implementasi); dan 5) Evaluation (Penilaian). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android ini valid yang didasarkan pada hasil validasi ahli media mencapai persentase 83% dalam kategori baik, hasil validasi ahli materi mencapai persentasi 83,82% dalam kategori baik dan hasil validasi ahli pembelajaran mencapai persetase 85% dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran berbasis android yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Adapun peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Hight Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa ditunjukkan dari hasil uji T terhadap nilai pretest dan postest. Berdasarkan hasil uji T yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Pired Samples dengan taraf kebenaran 95% di peroleh hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka ada perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Hight Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis android.
As we all know, the purpose of teaching students to read short tales is to help them understand the material and analyze the elements of the story, including the moral value, storyline, setting, and characters. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) what the students' initial conditions on reading short story texts were before to using the developed digital storytelling, and (2) how successful the developed digital storytelling utilized for teaching short story reading is. This digital tale was created as a result of the findings of this study, which were based on the results of questionnaires and interviews. It was discovered that the digital storytelling media should cover the needs of the students, which have some criteria such as after reading the short stories, hopefully they can increase their vocabulary, they like to read dramatic and romantic stories, the suitable medias in learning reading of short stories are online reading sources and video, types of digital storytelling are video words and digital storytelling video clips, digital storytelling should be easy to operate an After using digital storytelling to teach short story reading, the students demonstrated this progress. The production of materials improves students' grades and can increase their enthusiasm in reading short stories.
