Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is an idea which developed since 1992 as a concept of development that bases 3 pillars as its foundation: environment, social and economic. School is one of the educational media to be a strategic place to develop this concept. Teachers as someone who has an important role in learning must understand this concept. Therefore, this study aims to analyze teachers perceptions to education for sustainable development and analyzing the competencies in the dimensions of ESD that can be integrated into the curriculum of mathematics. The study was conducted using a survey method with questionnaires to 107 mathematics teachers of senior high school in the West Java and Banten grouped according to the geographical location. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics and one way anova using SPSS. The results of the study provide two conclusions: first, the geographical location does not affect the teachers perception, second, almost all competencies in the dimensions of ESD can be integrated into the curriculum of mathematics.
This research is a survey research to determine teacher professional development programs that can be carried out by schools through teacher self-assessment. The results of this study can be used to determine professional development programs that can be carried out by schools based on self-assessment according to the needs of teachers. The self-assessment carried out by the teacher to analyze the need for Teacher Professional Development is carried out with a questionnaire that includes a person's strengths and weaknesses, Desired or required Career or Professional Development and the reasons for choosing the career development. Based on the survey, it can be seen that there is a comparison between the strengths of teachers and their weaknesses for the four competencies that teachers must have, it is also in accordance with the professional development program needed to improve the four competencies of teachers. ABSTRAKIndustri Cibaduyut merupakan salah satu industri yang menghasilkan produk alas kaki, terutama sepatu yang bahan bakunya dari kulit. Dalam mejalankan usahanya industri sepatu Cibaduyut mengahadapi berbagai masalah terutama masalah yang menyangkut lemahnya daya saing. Lemahnya daya saing tersebut disebabkan oleh para pelaku industri sepatu Cibaduyut belum menerapkan faktor daya saing baik yang bersifat eksternal maupun yang bersifat Internal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Untuk pengumpulan data metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan dokumentasi, pengamatan partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam dengan para informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pembuatan sepatu Cibaduyut Kota Bandung belum bisa berdaya saing disebabkan oleh lemahnya penerapan faktor daya saing terutama yang menyangkut faktor keahlian pekerja dan faktor ketersediaan teknologi.Kata kunci : daya saing, industri sepatu, cibaduyut
