Tulisan ini mengulas aneka jenis penelitian. Jenis penelitian sangat banyak sekali, baik dari sisi tujuan, pendekatan, dan metode, bahkan banyak lagi peristilahan lainnya. Tulisan ini secara khusus membahas jenis penelitian yang sangat berhubungan dengan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan, penelitian ilmu murni dan terapan, penelitian deskriptif, korelatif, dan komparatif. Penelitian ini juga mengulas penelitian kasus dan survei, penelitian historis dan sosiologis, penelitian eksplirasi, eksplanasi, dan evaluasi. Begitu juga penelitian eksperimen, Tindakan, dan research and development (R&D). Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam kajian literatur (library research) dengan tahapan analisisnya berupa reduksi data, paparan data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aneka jenis penelitian tersebut dapat digunakan pada seluruh topik yang dianggap mempunyai permasalahan tertentu sesuai tujuan, manfaat, dan tingkatannya. Artinya, setiap jenis penelitian mempunyai ciri tertentu sesuai topik yang dibahas, tujuannya, manfaat, dan tingkat diskursus yang dibahas. Pada dasarnya seluruh penelitian menuntut adanya kebaharuan (novelty) di dalam ulasannya, baik berupa hasil, implikasi teoretik, dan rekomendasi tertentu.
This research discusses the nature of self-appearance or (personal grooming) which includes the obligation to maintain cleanliness, both physically and mentally. This nature is attached to the individual. This research is included in the literature review, the object of this study is the verses of the Koran and epistemology related to the nature of personal grooming, the approach used is the thematic interpretation related to nature in the perspective of a literature review related to nature and cleanliness. The results of the study reveal that self-appearance is part of aesthetics in Islam or enters into the context of adab or ethics, as part of human nature. For this reason, self-appearance (personal grooming) is also part of the form of self-cleaning, as a manifestation of good luck.
This research discusses the nature of self-appearance or (personal grooming) which contains suggestions, one of which is to remove armpit hair. This research is included in a literature review, the object of this study is hadiths related to personal grooming, the approach used is maqasid al-shari'ah al-syatibi. The results of the study reveal that self-appearance is part of aesthetics and in Islam it is included in adab or ethics as part of the sunnahs of human nature. The benefits of shaving the armpit hair are cleanliness and health, so removing it is a sunnah and is liked.
This study discusses the development of Islamic Education in West Sumatra, both from the perspective of institutions and figures. It is important to review this again because there is too much scattered literature, thus requiring this paper to remap from an institutional perspective and Islamic Education figures in West Sumatra. This research is included in the literature review with the stages of analysis in the form of data reduction, data exposure, and conclusions/verification. The results show that the role of Islamic Education figures in the early days greatly influenced the development of Islamic Education in West Sumatra, the Burhanuddin Ulakan figure made Surau the forerunner of Islamic learning facilities. After that, the existence of Ahmad Khatib gave birth to many scholars in Indonesia, especially in West Sumatra. From there, figures in the development of Islamic Education who contrasted established Educational Institutions, such as Abdullah Ahmad founded the Adabiyah School, Zainuddin Labay el-Yunusi founded the Diniyah School, Rahmah el-Yunusi founded Madrasah Diniyah Putri, and Abdul Karim Amrullah founded Sumatra Thuwailib.
This study discusses the understanding of salafi religion in the community which always creates noise in the community. This research is included in the literature review with the stages of analysis in the form of data reduction, data exposure, and conclusions/verification. The results show that the Salafi understanding tends to be textual in understanding the Qur'an and Hadith, from this habit it has an impact on an understanding that traditions that live in a good society, which have never existed in the Qur'an and Hadith are always considered as a wrong understanding (bid'ah and shirk), even contrary to the teachings of Islam. One solution that must be done so that salafi understanding does not develop by paying special attention to the ustadz concerned to stop understanding that does not lead to noise, for example by giving priority to religious instructors from the Ministry of Religion to conduct a data collection program for clerics who tend to make noise and provide understanding. considered good for the sake of maintaining peace and religious tolerance.
