The article is devoted to the study of interrelations of the attitude to time, proactive copying behavior and burnout syndrome among teachers of the higher school. Today, the system of the higher education in Russia is at the stage of intensive development and reformation. Professional activity of the higher school teachers belongs to the most psychologically tensed kinds of social activity, and is among occupations with the highest risk of the burnout syndrome. The results of this research have shown that professional burnout among teachers was expressed in a moderate degree. Their copying strategy of "avoidance" is associated with a negative attitude to the past. Proactive copying behavior and low level of burnout are connected with the positive assessment of the present and future time.
Abstract-The present study aimed at investigating the subjective perceptions of the officers about the professional stress factors and features of coping with them. Work has been done on the contingent of military men in the period of the reforms in the army. It was assumed that, in a period of change, features of coping behavior of military personnel would be especially bright because the tension labor situation will require the activation of individual resources that contribute to the successful overcoming of novelty and uncertainty. To identify striking features of coping in stressful situations the indicators of coping are considered in connection with the level of job satisfaction. The study revealed the following peculiarity of military men's coping with difficult situations: the use of problem-oriented coping strategy and the use of avoidant, emotional-oriented strategies, impulsive and aggressive actions.
The article discusses the factors related to health in connection with the accidents of truck drivers. The basis of the study of implicit attitudes towards health and disease lies in the model of orthogonal implicit attitudes. The study of longdistance drivers used the Double-Target IAT method (a modified version of the Single-Target IAT), based on a model of orthogonal implicit attitude.
Attitude to health can be considered as one of the most important factors of efficiency and professional success of employees today, as a regulator of human behavior in a challenging and controversial professional situation. Studies of psychologists (starting with R. La Pierre's phenomenon, 1934) often fix the discrepancy between the declared attitude to health and true attitude and behavior. The imperfection of methods of diagnostics of attitude to health may be one of the reasons for such discrepancy. The authors suggest studying the attitude to health of specialists in an organization not only by traditional survey methods (for example, R.A. Berezovskaya's attitude-to-health questionnaire, a questionnaire on studying the barriers of health seeking behavior by Nikiforova G.S. and Dudchenko Z.F.), but also by means of an implicit method (based on the priming effect, implicit associative test). The article presents the results of the study conducted by using the implicit methodology for studying the attitude to health, which is based on a model of polar values.
