This study aims to reveal the perceptions of students and lecturers on the material, process, and assessment of literary appreciation learning. One of the subjects that must be taken by Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students is the Literature Appreciation course. Learning about literary appreciation to students is not really easy because the teacher is required to ensure that students have an understanding, enjoyment, and assessment of literary work. On the other hand, in teaching literature, the teacher needs to have: (1) understanding of the objectives of literary learning, (2) the accuracy of selecting, determining, and packaging literary teaching material based on the values or content in it, (3) the ability to choose and using literary appreciation learning strategies that are able to ignite students' interest and appreciative experience, and (4) the accuracy in choosing and using assessment of literary appreciation learning in accordance with the expected competencies. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research data is in the form of perceptions of students and lecturers on gender perspective prose appreciation learning. The data sources of this study are college participants and lecturers of literature appreciation (Poetry Appreciation, Prose Appreciation, and Drama Appreciation) in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department, FBS, Semarang State University. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire techniques and in-depth interviews. Quantitative data in this study were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques. The qualitative data were analyzed by data reduction steps, data dispensing, and data verification to obtain conclusions. The results showed that lecturers and students perceived that (1) learning material was in the form of hand-out material, but it was not complete because it only contained theoretical concepts, (2) the material did not contain gender values, even though students need that value, (2) the literary appreciation learning process uses strategies that allow students to appreciate, but the method used is monotonous and less varied, learning activities have not reached the final stages of appreciation, namely reproducing, and the learning process has not paid attention to perspective gender, (3) assessment of literary appreciation learning has used authentic assessment, but has not covered all aspects of assessment (cognitive, affective, psychomotor). Assessment has not considered a gender perspective.
The existence of folklore as oral literature has been potentially eliminated of students. Student interest in learning and preserving has decrease. However, folklore as a cultural wealth of nations contains of noble values that should be inherited and preserved to the younger generation. The problem in this research is how to optimize folklore in literary learning as supporter of cultural literacy among students. The research method is a qualitative descriptive. The data of this study are folklore from Kudus. The data collection techniques and the research instruments are interview guides, observation sheets, data cards, and documentation files. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitative techniques, namely reduction, data processing, data presentation, and conclusion. The introduction and preservation of folklore can be conducted by optimizing in literary learning as a learning resource. This optimization can be a reinforcement of the younger generation character and cultural literacy (reading and writing). This condition focuses on the declining of cultural literacy of students. Folklore as a fictional story can be presented with interesting language and not boring so that it can foster readers' interest to write and read. The strengthening of cultural literacy begins with having interest in reading then continues with writing. Thus, the optimizing of folklore is needed especially in the literary learning as a supporter of cultural literacy for young generations who are superior, creative and innovative.
Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan analisis nilai-nilai moral dalam cerita rakyat pesisiran sebagai alternatif bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Sastra Lama. Metode penelitian ini digunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah cerita rakyat pesisiran. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah masyarakat pesisiran yang memahami cerita rakyat pesisiran. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka, teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik simak catat. Sedangkan instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dan kartu data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tahap-tahap: (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian (display) data, dan (4) penyimpulan atau verifikasi data dan hasil. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa cerita rakyat dari pesisiran terkandung nilai sosial dan agama yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dijadikan teladan dalam menjaga kerukunan dan ketentraman. Nilai-nilai sosial dan agama tersebut sangat cocok untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran sastra terutama dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Sastra Lama. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of moral values in coastal folklore as an alternative teaching material in learning the History of Old Literature. This research method used qualitative descriptive analysis method. The object of this research is coastal folklore. The source of this research data is coastal communities that understand coastal folklore. The data collection techniques of this study are literature studies, observation techniques, interview techniques, and note taking techniques. While the research instruments are observation sheets, interview sheets, and data cards. Data analysis techniques are carried out with stages: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation (display), and (4) inference or verification of data and results. The results of the study show that folklore from coastal areas contains social and religious values that can be applied in daily life and are exemplary in maintaining harmony and tranquility. These social and religious values are very suitable to be integrated in literary learning, especially in learning the History of Old Literature.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan proses dan hasil penerapan sekolah permainan tradisional di Dusun Kalinongko Desa Karanglangu Kabupaten Grobogan secara daring. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah remaja karang taruna dan anak-anak di dusun tersebut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas grup Whatsapp, Zoom Meeting, dan google meet. Metode pelaksanaan ini meliputi tahap: (1) prakegiatan, (2) pelaksanaan kegiatan (meliputi persiapan, pemberian motivasi, pelaksanaan), dan (3) evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah pada tahap prakegiatan dilakukan observasi dan wawancara melalui grup whatsapp atau pesan pribadi dengan hasil remaja dan anak-anak jarang sekali bermain dan bahkan sebagian besar belum mengenal permainan tradisional. Tahap pelaksanaan digunakan metode daring yaitu grup whatsapp, zoom meeting, dan google meet. Metode daring terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, pemberian motivasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan dilakukan koordinasi antara tim dengan peserta serta pembentukan grup whatsapp. Pemberian motivasi dilakukan tiap kali kegiatan akan dimulai agar peserta lebih semangat, termotivasi, dan akrab dengan tim. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan I, II, dan III dengan aplikasi google meet. Kegiatan I disampaikan materi filosofi dan manfaat permainan tradisional. Kegiatan II disampaikan materi filosofi, manfaat, dan proses dalam bentuk video permainan tradisional yang dapat dilakukan oleh anak di rumah. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah anak dapat memahami filosofi permainan tradisional dan bisa menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, anak-anak tertarik untuk memainkan permainan tradisional di rumah. Kendala pada kegiatan I dan II yaitu koneksi yang kurang baik sehingga peserta keluar masuk forum daring. Ketercapaian luaran kegiatan ini yaitu laporan kemajuan (100%), video pelaksanaan program (85%), buku pedoman pelaksanaan (85%), dan laporan akhir (85%).
Prophetical Ethics on Folklores of Surakarta. This study aims to describe the humanism, liberation, and transcendence ethics as pillars of prophetical ethics on the folklores of Surakarta. The method of investigation used was descriptive qualitative approach by implementing critical analysis methods with the objects of the study were the folklores spread in regional of Surakarta. The collecting data methods used were a literature review, observation, and interviews and there were analyzed with several steps (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The result of the study was, the folklores in Surakarta regions provide prophetical values, namely (1) humanism ethics, including: big soul, caring, apologizer, helper; (2) liberation ethics, including: learning, rights fighters, glory, unity, and (3) ethics of transcendence, including: meditation, surrendered, sincerely, and obedience to leaders.
