Purpose:to determine effectiveness of students' physical education program, mainly directed at development of leading physical qualities. Material:100 students participated in experiment. In control group (n=50) all physical qualities were trained equally. In experimental group (n=50) loads were directed at training of leading (better trained) physical qualities. Results:we detected higher physical culture-sport activity of students in conditions of the author's program's application. Higher health related effectiveness of experimental program was illustrated also by its facilitating increasing the students' weekly activity. The found facts prove effectiveness and importance of those physical loads' priority application in trainings process, to which students have genetic bent. Conclusions:demand and timeliness of individual-typological approach is conditioned by the following: distinctions in students' physical fitness; personalities' specificities of students' reactions to external factors and physical loads.
Abstract. Introduction: to day, physical fitness testing often causes negative emotions in pupils. It results in sharp loss of pupils' wish to fulfill physical exercises in free time and worsens their health. Possibility to assess health level is an important motivation factor for pupils' passing physical tests. Objective testing system will form positive motivation for physical exercises' practicing and will facilitate increase of pupils' motor functioning. It will also facilitate optimization of their physical condition, improvement of physical fitness and strengthening of health. Material: we tested physical fitness level and made diagnosis of pupils' functional state (10-15 years' age; n=85) with the help of tool methodic. We also used regressive analysis. Results: the system of tests and standards for expresscontrol over physical fitness and health of middle school age pupils has been worked out and substantiated. The system of tests envisages fulfillment of 4 exercises: back pressing ups on bench during 20 seconds; throwing and catching of ball with two hands from wall during 30 seconds; side bending; torso rising from lying position into sitting during 30 seconds. Integral indicator of pupils' physical fitness and health correlates with functional state of organism's leading systems. We worked out 5 levels' scale for express-control over physical fitness and health of middle school age pupils. The system stipulates calculation of integrative indicator with the help of regression equation by results of 4 test exercises and calculation of one index. Conclusions: The system of tests and standards permits the following: to divide pupils into relatively uniform groups even at the beginning of academic year for successful reasonable physical load. The system also permits to determine standard and find what shall be strived for by a pupil in order to achieve optimal physical fitness and somatic state; to motivate relatively weakly trained pupils for testing and further their physical self-perfection.
The question of a healthy way of life of students in the conditions of quarantine restrictions is considered. The urgency of scientific research is caused by the sharp deterioration of the physical and mental condition of students due to the introduction of quarantine in the country caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and in higher education institutions of distance learning. A necessary main prerequisite for maintaining health in quarantine is a healthy lifestyle, as a system of conditions that contribute to the strengthening and preservation of health. The purpose of the work is to identify areas for ensuring a healthy lifestyle of students during quarantine in the educational process of physical education. Research methods: theoretical analysis, systematization, comparison, generalization of literature data. According to the results of scientific research, the important and unique importance of physical education in the process of ensuring a healthy lifestyle of students has been proved. The directions of ensuring a healthy lifestyle of students during quarantine in the educational process of physical education are systematized: formation of students 'stable motivations for a healthy lifestyle application of all possible technologies in classroom and extracurricular physical education classes to educate students' needs and ability to maintain and improve their health. I; to provide students with a wide range of knowledge, on the basis of which the worldview of a healthy lifestyle should be formed; acquaintance of students with alternative methods of usual physical activity, for counteraction to negative consequences of quarantine and social isolation; development of programs and technological models of forming a healthy lifestyle by means of physical culture; development of methodical recommendations on physical education on the basis of innovative methods adapted for use at home during quarantine, in the situation of impossibility to use sports halls of educational institutions, sports clubs and playgrounds. The practical implementation of the findings is aimed at radical changes that will affect the development of physical education to ensure the health of students.
Information on features necessary for productive professional work is interesting for both scientists and employers. Single systematized contradictory data don't allow to improve training programs, make effective training programs for IT-specialists for productive professional work. Goal -identify critical important, important and desirable professional qualities for IT-specialists, according to the data of literature determine the most important means of their effective development. Methods, participants, and organization. The study participants were 142 students who study at the university in the 3rd year and have experience in the specialty "information technology" for at least 2 years. Students evaluated soft-skills (on a 4-point system) by the degree of importance for the successful work of IT-professionals. The results were calculated in%, and the reliability of the discrepancies between neighbouring groups of indicators was determined using the χ2 criterion. Results. It has been determined that emotional intelligence is a crucial quality for IT professionals, as well as leading and desired skills. Whereas the leading skills are studying ability and strive for selfeducation and self-improvement; independent decision making and problem solving; establishing communication and team-working; creativity, attention to details, and adaptiveness. An adequate level of physical conditions and leadership are regarded as desirable. The level of importance of psychophysical parameters for IT professional's work efficiency has been determined. It has been determined, that means of physical activities as mental fitness (hatha yoga, Bodyflex and Pilates), sports games (and other measures for promote agility) have worked well in the development of cognitive qualities of students. To form professionally important skills, IT-specialists have been recommended to use aids to promote agility and mental fitness, to reinforce the workload on physical education sessions, increase the number of academic classes on physical education up to 3 per week, or supplement academic activities with sports. In professional literature, there has been found no datum on the type of motor activity that encourages forming a number of leading professionally important qualities.
The competence in physical education (PE) is an assessment of a person's ability to lead a physically active lifestyle. The lack of an integrated approach to assessing the success of student’s training in PE does not allow a systematic, transparent and effective monitoring of the dynamics of the development of the personality of a competitive specialist, establishing the causes of problems and developing forecasts for the future. The goal of study was to develop and justify a system for assessing the competence of PE of students studying at universities and colleges. A survey of experts (N=82) was conducted to find out the importance of each of the structural elements of competence. The validity of proposed approaches was investigated. Three domains (“Movement Activity and Attitude to It,” “Physical Health and Fitness,” “Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities”) were distinguished in the structure of competence in PE, each of which was divided into 2–4 components. Designed assessment method covers all structural parts of the competence in PE, the goals of student learning, takes into account the list of necessary knowledge and skills in accordance with the requirements of the program, provides the formation of motivation for an active lifestyle, and maintains a level of physical activity sufficient for health. Developed method allows to determine the overall assessment of the formation of competence in PE, as well as a separate component, it gives an opportunity to calculate “critical” components, take into account interests and needs of students, teachers, and university / college administration.
