The article discusses the art therapy potential of watercolor as a fundamental painting technique within the framework of the special course "Technologies of Painting Materials", which is included in the mandatory educational disciplines for students of the specialty 014.12 Secondary Education (Fine Arts) at the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University. The article is aimed at generalizing the world practice along with forming the approaches to classifying clusters, including port clusters, introducing clusterization into the activities of Ukrainian ports in order to solve urgent problems of the port industry. The article uses general scientific methods: analysis and synthesis, deduction, grouping, structural and system analyses. Both domestic and foreign literature on types and features of cluster formation is analyzed; the process of cluster development at different stages is defined; a generalized table with different approaches to the classification of clusters, including port clusters, is formed; the possibilities of creating port clusters in Ukraine are considered. It is determined that the most important criteria for classification of clusters are: industry affiliation (woodworking, financial, tourism, pharmaceutical enterprises); development factors (demand-oriented, located in the place of availability of labor resources and these, the location of which is first determined by natural factors); the stage of cluster development; the internal structure of the cluster; the way the cluster appears; the scale of cluster activity. As for port clusters, the economic substantiation for the creation of a port cluster should represent the demand for a certain cargo base. Therefore, it is advisable to analyze the cargo flow to determine its discreteness. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that the proposed classification features of clusters in general and port clusters in particular allow determining the vector of direction for introducing the best solutions in Ukrainian port activities. The advantage of introducing the cluster conception into the maritime economic complex of Ukraine will be the promotion of holistic development and growth of the innovativeness of the industry. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve economic effects, as well as increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian ports.
The significance of this study is derived from instability situations faced by various markets, particularly in the transport and logistics sectors, and the necessity to ascertain methods for their future advancement. The aim of this paper is to determine transformative modifications in the fundamental principles of strategic management for companies engaged in transport and logistics markets. In the course of the research, various methods were employed, including generalization, system analysis, abstract-logical method, systemic approach, analysis and synthesis method, graphical method, induction, deduction, comparison and systematization method, expert analysis, and selective observations. As a result, the authors identified the prerequisites for the transformation of unique and oversized air carriers into 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operators, which are divided into the following blocks: needs, threats and risks, and product uniqueness.
The article focuses on the study of specific characteristics of seaports development under conditions of digitalization. The article aims to study features of the development of the international seaport under digitalization to implement the best achievements in Ukraine. The main research method was a systemic-structural approach used to examine seaport digitalization as a part of a logistics chain, including horizontal and vertical links between its elements. To achieve an effective digital transformation, we also used the above method. It helped to study how the factors determined during the study of international practices and possible innovations influence the object under study. The practices, which are of interest for Ukraine and other developing countries, were identified based on the international experience in seaports development under digitalization. The main strategic directions for the digital transformations of the above infrastructural objects were suggested. They involve increasing seaport competitiveness and their effectiveness in the framework of the international transport system. The directions are of interest for public authorities of the governmental and regional levels (while establishing the digitalization policy in the area of sea transport) and the port administrations (while making justified strategic decisions for their development).
The purpose of the article is to study the global trends in the development of maritime container transportation, which should be taken into account when reforming the transport industry in Ukraine. The role of containers in increasing the throughput of seaports and increasing the competitiveness of logistics services is noted. The main prerequisites that act as an incentive for containerization processes are determined. The level of modern development of global maritime container transportation has been studied. The dynamics of the main indicators in the world maritime container transportation market is analyzed and the influence of a number of factors is considered. It has been established that the increase in container traffic in multimodal transportation contributed to the growth in the throughput of seaports by 5–5.5% annually and, according to forecasts, should be. 978 million TEU by 2025. It is noted that the largest volume of sea container traffic (64%) is provided by the ports of Asian countries, which is explained by the location in this region of the world's largest ports (Shanghai, Singapore, Shenzhen and others). The attention is focused on the processes of mergers and acquisitions inherent in the maritime transportation market and which led to the consolidation of some shipping lines. It was noted that the world's leading container shipping operators (in terms of the number of vessels) are APM-Maersk (Denmark), Mediterranean Shg Co (Switzerland), CMA CGM Group (France). The prospects for further development of this market are indicated. It was noted that the profitability of container networks over the past five years has more than tripled and reached 3446 million dollars. The main trends that have developed in the global maritime container transportation market have been studied, and should become a guideline in shaping the ways for the development of the Ukrainian transport industry, aimed at the effective use of the transit potential of the state and increasing the competitiveness of this area.
