This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of 11th grade Science 4 state senior high school (SMAN) 3 Ambon on the subject material of hydrocarbon compounds by using the Problem-Based Learning model. This research was conducted with 37 11th-grade Science 4 students as the research sample. The data was collected by tests, observation sheets, and worksheets. Data were analyzed descriptively by percentage and n-gain with categories. The results of the research showed that the student’s learning outcomes were achieved with different qualifications. There are 2 students (5.41%) who had very good qualifications, 27 students (72.97%) were in good qualifications, 5 students (13.51%) are in fair qualifications, and 3 students (8.11%) are in poor qualifications/failed. N-gain achievement of 28 (75.68%) students was in the high category and 9 (24. 32%) students were in the medium category. The results of the analysis of the average normalized gain score for all students are 0.77 which is in the high category. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes.

This study aims to describe the use of Instagram @sesakata social media accounts as a medium in writing poetry and to find out the achievement of the results of the assessment of the use of social media instagam @sesakata to write poems so that these goals can find out the achievement of problem-based learning methods. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The population of this study was class X students of Muhammadiyah PK High School (Special Program) Kottabarat. Data collection techniques are by using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The intended test is a poetry writing test which is divided into two parts, namely writing free theme poems and then writing poems based on words contained on @sesakata Instagram social media accounts. From the results of the study, the results of the research on writing poems for class X high school students were categorized as high and very high. With a minimum score of 60 and a maximum of 90 after writing a poem using @sesakata's Instagram social media account. Students can compose poems they create with the help of posts uploaded by @sesakata Instagram account. This application is a new thing that is done in the writing of high school students. So that students become more interested in poetry and do not consider poetry to be a difficult thing.

This study aims to get a value of the effectiveness of students in learning analytical chemistry. The subjects carried out in this study were 30 Tanjungbalai Polytechnic students. The method used is to analyze the pre-test and post-test as well as data on the frequency distribution of the G factor. From the results of the study it can be concluded as follows 1). The value of the pre-test results showed that out of 30 students there was 1 person (3.33%) with the highest score with a score of 74. For 29 people (97.67%) were declared not to have passed because the score was below 74. 2). The standard deviation value is 6.33 with a variance of 40.110. 3). the posttest score of 5 people with the highest score of 90 with a percentage of 16.67%, and 83.33% showed a score below 90 and passed the PBL Chemistry Analysis lesson. The conclusion from the results of the increased learning outcomes in the analytical chemistry course was obtained that the g factor value was 0.56 in the moderate category and a percentage of 56.16% in the quite effective category.
