Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manfaat penggunaan aplikasi whatsapp sebagai media informasi dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literature review. Jumlah artikel yang dijadikan literature yaitu sebanyak 25 artikel, diambil dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan 2022, dan terindeks database nasional dan internasional. Artikel dalam kategori jurnal terindeks database nasional terdiri dari 1 jurnal terindeks Science and Technology Index (SINTA) peringkat 2 atau S2, 2 jurnal terindeks S3, 7 jurnal terindeks S4, dan 4 jurnal terindeks S5. Sedangkan dari kategori jurnal internasional sebanyak 11 jurnal. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hampir semua menyatakan manfaat yang baik dalam penggunaan aplikasi whatsapp sebagai media dalam pembelajaran. Beberapa hasil yang diperoleh dari pemanfaatan aplikasi ini dalam pembelajaran diantaranya, menambah minat siswa, nerangsang dan memotivasi siswa dalam belajar, membuat proses belajar mengajar yang menyenangkan, hasil belajar yang baik, pembelajaran cenderung lebih efektif, dan pembelajaran lebih feleksibel dan tidak kaku. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu di era pandemi saat ini bahwa sistem pembelajaran online harus menggunakan cara yang tepat dan media yang nyaman tanpa mengurangi kualitasnya.
This research was conducted at Supra Talibura Junior High School, Sikka Regency, NTT, to determine the effect of increasing students' critical thinking skills after being given treatment using PhET Simulation in a flipped classroom setting. The trial sample used was 50 students divided into two classes. Each class was 25 people with purposive sampling. Data was collected by giving tests and questionnaires. Students are given apperception in videos a week before the learning takes place during the learning process. Giving videos aims to build students' initial learning knowledge to find out for themselves about learning topics: test t and N-gain analysis. Research results have been obtained; namely, there is an effect of using PhET from hypothesis testing and N-gain. At the same time, the results of the percentage of student response questionnaires indicate the level of student acceptance of the media used in learning.
Indonesia is an area where three large tectonic plates meet, namely the Indo-Australian, Eurasian and Pacific plates, so that Indonesia is included in the earthquake-prone category, with 11,660 earthquake vibrations identified in the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) database in 2019 The purpose of this study is to develop a classification of the distribution of earthquakes in Indonesia in 2019 based on the values of magnitude, depth, and position. This research was conducted by using the clustering method based on the K-means algorithm and the DBSCAN algorithm as a comparison. The results of the clustering show that the earthquake data analysis using the K-Means algorithm is superior with a silhouette index value of 0.837, while the DBSCAN algorithm has a silhouette index value of 0.730.
The 2013 curriculum is oriented to the development of the 21st century which is faced with various challenges in the world of education. Things that cause problems in implementing the 2013 curriculum are teacher competencies that are still lacking, online learning facilities are not evenly distributed, and the division of learning hours using a shift system causes the quality of students and education itself to be lacking. This study aims to provide solutions to problems faced in schools, namely by developing HOTS integrated worksheets to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is development (R&D) which refers to the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The feasibility of the HOTS integrated LKPD media was obtained from the results of expert validation, LKPD media trials in the form of practicality analysis and effectiveness analysis. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills is obtained from the standard value of the N-gain test of students' critical thinking abilities. The results of the study indicate that the HOTS integrated LKPD has been produced which is suitable to be used to improve students' critical thinking skills with a standard N-gain value of 0.71 in the high category.ÃÂ
Waipare adalah salah satu daerah di kabupaten Sikka yang berada pada kecamatan Kangae, Kabupaten Sikka Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kondisi geografis yang terletak dipesisir Laut Flores menjadikan masyarakat Waipare memahami kebudayaan setempat yang berkaitan dengan profesinya sebagai nelayan. Meskipun demikian kebudayaan yang ada belum terdapat hubungan dengan keilmuwan khususnya Astronomi. Tujuan pengabdian adalah melakukan edukasi pembelajaran Astronomi dengan pendekatan kebudayaan di masyarakat Waipare. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan edukasi melalui kegiatan workshop pembuatan alat peraga NASE dan pengamatan langit malam menggunakan aplikasi Stellarium. Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah anak-anak SD dan SMP. Hasil dan dampak pengabdian yang telah diberikan adalah terbentuk pemahaman terkait ilmu Astronomi, mampu membaca rasi bintang dengan melihat pola rangkaian bintang yang ada di langit, dan mampu menggunakan aplikasi Stellarium.
