Masyarakat Minangkabau menganut falsafah-falsafah sebagai konsepsi yang implikasikan ke dalam kebudayaannya, salahsatunya yaitu dengan kehadiran kesenian. Kesenian dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Minangkabau hidup dan berkembang bersama perjalanan waktu serta daya kreativitas masyarakatnya dinamis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap kesenian, khususnya yang berhubungan dengan tradisi dan kreativitas dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Minangkabau dengan menggunakan pendekatan Hermeneutik dan studi literatur. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengamatan mengenai bentuk-bentuk seni tradisi Minangkabau khususnya musik tadisi dan perkembangannya pada masyarakat Minangkabau. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini antara lain mengenai; bentuk-bentuk kesenian tradisi Minangkabau dan kesenian dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau.
Prodi Pendidikan Musik UNP tentu harus mampu memfasilitasi kebutuhan pembelajaran teori musik bagi mahasiswa secara optimal, mengingat perannya yang sangat fundamental. Namun faktanya, Prodi Pendidikan Musik UNP sampai saat ini (tahun kedua berjalan) masih belum memiliki modul pembelajaran teori musik yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran teori musik. Pertimbangan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran teori musik interaktif dengan memperhatikan gaya hidup mahasiswa saat ini, menjadi kunci bagi penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, tim peneliti menerapkan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE karena diyakini efektif untuk digunakan sebagai pengembangan modul pembelajaran interaktif
The concept of beauty (aesthetic) as a central issue to reveal the meaningfulness of the value of a form of art or artwork, can not be done by generalizing. The emergence of the phenomenon of art with the term Sema in the Sufi order Naqsybandi Haqqani Jakarta can certainly be assumed as a transformation of the values of Tauhid education based on the aesthetic concept of Sufism in the domain of Islam, because the existence of Sufi orders in general only offer spiritual teachings (aims) to achieve purification of Tawheed. This research is included in qualitative paradigm with phenomenology approach. Through this research it is revealed that the love of divinity or platonic love based on Tawheed (esoteric) is the aesthetic concept of the Naqsybandi Sema tariqa Haqqani Jakarta as the manifestation of the consciousness of the perpetrators, which is awakened through spiritual training in the tarekat. Sema in the Naqsybandi Haqqani Order of Jakarta is also known to play the role of educational media in instilling the values of Tawheed through its beautiful symbols (exoteric) and meaningful Ketauhidan.
The Major Instrument Practice course is a subject that has learning achievements in order to shape student skills in mastering the chosen musical instrument properly and responsibly. Thus, the State University of Padang Music Education Study Program must be able to facilitate it well so that the objectives of the course can be achieved optimally. But the fact is, the Music Education Study Program at Padang State University does not yet have teaching materials that can be used in the learning process of Major Instrument Practices. Therefore, the research team is interested in studying and researching this subject in order to formulate teaching materials into a systematic, easy-to-use, and constructive textbook. The consideration in preparing teaching materials for Major Instrument Practice (Flute) is due to the large number of foreign language teaching materials with varying degrees of difficulty which makes it difficult for students to understand them. The research team believes that the presence of teaching material dictates based on previous considerations is expected to facilitate the learning process of the Flute Practice course. In this study, researchers used an analytical descriptive method that serves to describe or give a picture of the object under study through data or samples that have been collected, this method is believed to be effectively used in this study
Humanizing and civilizing society is one manifestation of education as a cultural process. The educational process allows for the exchange of information between subjective, intersubjective, and intrasubjective and inherits the nature of values, knowledge, and beliefs that function as a guide to meet human needs in the context of local entities. This article is a conceptual research that discusses the educational process that can occur through several concepts, namely internalization, socialization, and enculturation. In the process, education can be done in formal, informal, or non-formal ways. This article aims to reveal the importance of the values contained in local entities and preserve them as a form of cultural manifestation based on knowledge, values, beliefs that can benefit the community. In a more specific context, this article brings up the discourse of art education as a civilizing process that utilizes art as a medium that has a strategic role in preserving and strengthening the local entity of a culture.
