Abstract. This paper presents the development of a web application focused for training math concepts in elementary school students. The system allows students solve a series of problems divided according to the classification used by OBMEP, as themes, sub-themes and levels. The application is implemented with Gamification concepts. The problems were selected using a method developed by the authors, described in the article, and had their variables generalized to ensure that the student does not memorize the answer, but the logic for resolving the issue, i.e, the identification of the mathematical algorithm proposed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
