Learning media is a component that contributes to the implementation of the learning process at the education unit level. The role of the media in learning, especially in early childhood education (PAUD) is very important, considering the development of children at that time was in a period of concrete thinking. However, there are still teachers who think that the role of the media in the learning process is only as a tool and may be ignored when the media is not available in schools. Even though the learning media used in the early childhood learning process should not be obtained from the store by buying. However, teachers and parents can create their own media. One solution that can overcome this condition is that it is necessary to conduct a training in making creative, attractive and easily available media in a nature-based environment. The community service activities carried out in the form of socialization and training in making learning media based on natural materials provide benefits for training participants, including: 1) For Teachers: Adding insight and increasing teacher creativity in preparing learning media by utilizing natural materials-based materials. 2) For Parents: Gained insight and experience to be more creative and innovative in assisting children to be creative in making a work (learning media) by utilizing materials that can be obtained from the natural surroundings. 3) For Children (students): Increase their self-confidence to be more skilled in performing work in creating a work (media) by collaborating with their respective parents/guardians. This study aims to determine the development of children's creativity through constructive play activities using media blocks. Constructive play is a form of game by using physical objects to build or create things. This game occurs when children engage in a creation or construction of a product or a problem solving of their own creation. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted in two cycles. Subjects in this study were group A semester II of Kindergarten Alifea academic year 2016/2017, as many as 13 children (5 women and 8 men) with the aspect that is assessed that is participation, attention, independence, creativity and ability to tell. Data creativity of children in constructive play with media beam collected by using the method of observation with the instrument in the form of observation format sheet. Research data were obtained and analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of data analysis obtained is on the first cycle of 46.1%, Cycle II obtained data of 81.5% So there is an increase in creativity development from cycle I to cycle II of 35.4%
This research aims to know how teachers understand and awareness about the importance of utilizing the environment as a learning resource and to know how the teacher's strategy in implementing the environment as a medium and learning resources for the children in the Kindergarten Alifia. This study uses a qualitative method approach with a type of case study study. Case study research, concentrating intensively on one particular object that learns it as a case. From the results of the study get that: 1) teacher understanding of the importance of using the environment as a source of learning in early childhood is good enough. 2) before implementing the learning process that utilizes the environment as a learning resource, teachers need to prepare from the stage of activity planning, implementation of activities and follow up as an evaluation of the activities undertaken. 3) The constraints most often experienced by teachers during the implementation of learning by utilizing the environment as a learning resource is the time it takes to be longer and companion children who sometimes do not compare to the number of children.
This study intended to determine the background of learning motivation of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) students. Besides knowing how to handle ADHD students and whatever factors that influence learning motivation. This was a qualitative descriptive study and the research subjects comprised 5 ADHD students, parents and homeroom teachers. The research instrument used observation sheets, interview sheets, and cameras. Data analysis technique was done by obtaining data from the field going to observation, interviews, and documentation, data reduction, data presentation then drawing conclusions. The sampling technique uses snowball sampling techniques and uses source triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the background of ADHD students' learning motivation tends to be minimal compared to students. Due to the condition of ADHD students have three symptoms, hyperactivity, intention and impulsivity. With this symptom condition, ADHD students must get a special approach such as more attention and be able to handle it without taking rough actions or punishing because it can affect the mental condition in ADHD students.
Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) diharapkan agar proses pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga anak betah,tidak merasa bosan dan fokus dalam belajar. Walaupun telah diketahui bahwa Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) sangat menunjang bagi terlaksananya proses belajar yang efektif namun perlu mengkreatifitaskan lebih banyak variasi di sekolah dalam menggunakan Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar anak, pengabdi akan menerapkan suatu tindakan dalam bentuk penggunaan media Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) disiapkan oleh guru sesuai dengan kebutuhan pokok bahasan yang akan diajarkan pada anak dan didapat dengan mudah bisa gunakan bahan dari tersedia dibeli, barang bekas ataupun dalam bentuk kreatifitas lain yang bisa dibentuk, dibuat, digunakan dan dimanfaatkan terutama guru memiliki keahlian keterampilan untuk hal tersebut perlu membekali diri dari sosialisai, pelatihan dan seminar untuk belajar lagi dan memuntut hal baru dari ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan hasil dari sosialisai tersebut adalah berjalan dengan lancar dan tercapainya salah satu cara pilihan untuk dapat membantu dan saling memberikan kebermanfaatan bersama dalam kemajuan dibidang pendidikan anak usia TK terutama usia 5 sampai 6 tahun dalam memotivasi mereka selain guru, peserta didik juga pihak lain yang berkepentingan dalam memajukan dunia pendidikan agar anak anak yang merupakan bagian dari nantinya sebagai penerus bangsa merupakan anak anak yang cerdas selain kognitifnya, keterampilannya juga prilaku serta wawasan dan pengembangan dirinya yang dimiliki berguna dan bermanfaat kelak nantiya baik bagi dirinya orang lain lingkungan dan negara tentunya.
