Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembelajaran melalui kearifan lokal dalam bahan ajar dengan harapan guru di daerah mengetahui dan memahami bahwa daerahnya memiliki nilai-nilai kehidupan yang bisa dimuat dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Siswa pun mengetahui sebagai putra-putri daerah yang akan mewarisi segala nilai tersebut sebagai bentuk pewarisan budaya agar tidak menjadi sebatas cerita nantinya. Metode yang digunakan Research and Development model Hanafin dan Peck. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis deskripsi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa bahan ajar dengan muatan tunjuk ajar Melayu yang layak digunakan dengan nilai rata-rata 4,29 dan 85,71% dari ahli materi serta nilai rata-rata 4,00 dan 80,00% dari ahli media. Dengan demikian didapatkan bahwa bahan ajar layak untuk digunakan dengan kategori baik sekali. This study aims to provide learning through local wisdom in teaching materials with the hope that teachers in the area know and understand that their area has life values that can be contained in learning in schools. Students also know as the sons and daughters of the region who will inherit all these values as a form of cultural inheritance so that they do not become limited to the story later. The method used by the Research and Development model is Hanafin and Peck. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the description analysis technique. The results of this study are in the form of teaching materials with a proper teaching point of Malay use with an average value of 4.29 and 85.71% from material experts and an average value of 4.00 and 80.00% from media experts. Thus it was found that teaching materials are suitable for use with excellent categories.
This study presents a related problem about the compound verbs in the Banjar Hulu language. Banjar language is the language used by the people of Indragiri Hilir Regency Riau. At present the state of the Banjar Hulu language is contaminated with modern culture and technology. Therefore, an in-depth study of the language of Banjar Hulu is needed. The problem that is examined is related to the form of the compound verb Banjar Hulu. The purpose of this study was to describe and explain in detail about the compound verbs in the Banjar Hulu language. This research is a type of field research using descriptive method. The research data is in the form of words spoken by the informant, with competent involvement data collection techniques. Data validation is done by triangulating the source by analyzing data regarding the original form and basic form. The results of this study are the discovery of the first basic compound verbs (a) basic compound verbs with the second noun component, (b) compound verbs with the first component adjectives, (c) basic compound verbs with the second component adjectives, (d) basic compound verbs with the first component adverb, (e) basic compound verb with both verb components. The two affiliated compound verbs; (a) affiliated compound verbs with the base of the components, (b) affixed compound verbs with the base of the free form, (c) affixed compound verbs with the two beraphyx components. The three compound verbs repeated.
This research is entitled as "Anecdotal Text in the Oral Story of Yong Dollah Inheritance of Malays as Alternative Choice for Indonesian Language Teaching Materials". It is inspired by the collection of Yong Dollah stories as the inheritance of Malays in Bengkalis Regency which contain of humor elements. In addition, the stories have the same characteristics with anecdotal text, so that it can be applied as teaching material for Indonesia Language subject in the school. This research method was content analysis of descriptive approach. This research was conducted during six months. The technique used to collect data were documentation and interview. The data of this study were the entire generic structure and language features of anecdotal texts contained in a collection of Yong Dollah stories which consisted of 11 stories. The result showed that as following. First, there are five texts contain of complete generic structures and six texts contain of incomplete generic structure which is coda part for data 2, 3, 5, 8, and 1. Second, about language features, there are four data contains of all language features of Anecdote text, but on the other side, there are seven incomplete language features in the texts. Third, the consideration of choosing Yong Dollah as alternative material for Indonesia Language subject refers to eight indicators that are conveyed based on teachers’ perception toward Anecdote text Yong Dolla. 55 % of number of teachers claim that these texts suitable to be implemented as teaching material, but 44% of them claim neutral, and 1% claim disagree on it.
Humanist literacy is an awareness of reading and understanding human phenomena that can be created through critical reading activities. Critical reading activities aim to reflect on the reading results so that they can make wise decisions on how to think and behave humanely. Decision-making skills need to be improved through critical reading learning with a humanist literacy approach. The problem so far is the unavailability of future learning designs by integrating humanist literacy through critical reading activities. Therefore, this study focuses on how to integrate humanist literacy in critical reading activities as an alternative direction for future language learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the grand design of integrating humanist literacy in critical reading activities as an alternative direction for future language learning. This research is a development research of one part of the development research procedure. The data for this study were sourced from the comments of lecturers and students from questionnaires distributed online. This research instrument was developed based on the concept of language learning, characteristics of humanist literacy, and characteristics of critical reading that have been validated. Data analysis was carried out critically reflectively by using tagCrow and AntCont applications. The results of the study prove that the grand design of integrating humanist literacy in critical reading activities can be carried out through communicating humanist literacy, collaborating humanist literacy, and humanist critical thinking with sub-skills of analyzing, interpreting, inferring, evaluating, explaining, and regulating oneself in a humanistic manner to make decisions. wisely according to the principles of humanistic life.
Eufemisme merupakan bentuk ungkapan untuk memperhalus kata-kata yang dirasa kasar atau tidak pantas diucapkan atau didengar oleh orang lain. Eufemisme sangat erat hubungannya dengan bahasa yang ada pada setiap kehidupan manusia dan telah menjadi tata krama atau kesantunan dalam berbahasa. Eufemisme ini juga sering kita jumpai dalam berbagai media massa salah satunya yaitu surat kabar. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini, yaitu Bagaimanakah eufemisme dalam editorial surat kabar harian Tribun Pekanbaru: kajian studi semantik? Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu teoriteori yang berhubungan dengan eufemisme dalam bentuk metafora. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, menginterpretasi, dan menyimpulkan eufemisme yang terdapat dalam editorial surat kabar harian Tribun Pekanbaru: kajian studi semantik. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan pembaca mengenai kajian semantik terutama pada aspek eufemisme bentuk metafora. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti, yaitu dari 23 editorial dalam surat kabar Tribun Pekanbaru edisi September 2020 peneliti menemukan 14 data eufemisme kajian semantik.
