Chemical and physical properties of Rice Husk as a potential energy resource were analyzed by means Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS). Rice husk is heated with varied temperature of 250˚C, 350˚C, 450˚C and 30, 60, 90 minutes respectively combine with time variation. The results show that the calorific value decreases whenever the temperature and time increase. The heating time of 30 minutes at 250˚C of temperature gives calorific value of 10.4 MJ/Kg. While at the 450˚C of temperature, the calorific value decrease to 4.7 MJ/Kg. The EDS shows that the time of heating is an important parameter where carbon and nitrogen were decreasing with the increment of the heating time while the oxygen increase when the heating time increase. The XRD shows that the broad (002) reflections between 20 o and 30 o indicate carbon disordered with small domains of coherent and parallel stacking of the graphene sheets, which consists of surface morphology from SEM. FTIR shows that the O-H stretching pronounced at around 3452 cm -1 and 3412 cm -1 and pronounced clearly at the highest temperature. The aromatic group from lignin gives rise to C=C asymmetric stretching at cm -1 as a G band corresponds to the sp2-hybradization bonding of carbon atoms and C-H bending modes at 2927 at 796 cm -1 . This results of the characteristic of chemical and physical properties of the rice husk examination provide the prominent source of useful energy that can eventually replace the fossil fuel.
Background: Infants aged six months and over have increased nutritional needs so that breast milk is no longer fulfilled because it is necessary to provide complementary foods for breast milk (MP-ASI) to reduce and prevent malnutrition. The provision of MP-ASI has a relationship with nutritional status. This study aims to know about the relationship between timeliness of complementary foods with the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in the working area of the Margorejo Health Center. Methods: The research design used an observational cross sectional. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months in the working area of the Margorejo Health Center. Sampling technique using total sampling and the sample size was 64 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The research variables were timeliness, frequency, quantity, diversity of species and suitability of MP-ASI texture. Data analysis using contingency coefficient test to determine the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Results: Timeliness of complementary foods was shown by 53,13% respondents while 46,87% of them not on time in timeliness of complementary foods. The results showed that no relationship between the timeliness of complementary feeding with nutritional status with p value=0,64. Conclusion: This study shows that there is no relationship between the timeliness of complementary feeding with the nutritional status of infants. Keywords: complementary feeding, timeliness, frequency, quantity, types of diversity, texture suitability, nutritional status
Quality of life is an individual's perception of the position in which they live and concerning their goals, expectations, standards, and other matters of concern (WHOQOL Group, 1995). The decreasing mother's quality of life during the COVID-19 pandemic could be one of the reasons for declining children's emotional and mental health. Based on Riskesdas 2020, the prevalence of children's emotional and behavioral disorders in Indonesia has highly increased by 9.6%. Mental disorders mostly begin in childhood. Thus, mental health issues need to be identified early and treated during a child's development. Therefore, improving maternal quality of life is immensely necessary for maintaining children's mental health. This study aims to analyze the correlation between maternal quality of life and children's emotional and behavioral disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research used analytic observational with a cross-sectional research design. This study was conducted at SDN Gayungan 1 Surabaya in April-May 2022 which the sample were 80 mothers of students in grades 1-6 for the academic year 2021-2022. The results of the study were tested with the spearman rho test which showed that most mothers had a moderate quality of life specifically 59 people (73.8%). Based on the strength and difficulty scale, most children had normal emotional mental health, specifically 68 people (85%) and 67 people (83.8%). Spearman's analysis showed p-value = 0.979 and 0.582 (p<0.05). In conclusion, there was no significant relationship between mother's quality of life and children's emotional and behavioral disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Batik is well known as an intangible cultural heritage. In Indonesia, batik is produced in several areas, with its own characteristics. The batik production process goes through several stages, in which overall processes require the aid of chemicals. Conventionally, the batik production process results in environmental pollution due to direct waste disposal without any significant processing. Along with the increase in public awareness of environmental protection, the batik dyeing process currently backs to natural dyes. The study was conducted to examine the production intention of natural dyes batik. A total of 209 producers of natural dyed batik became respondents in this study. Data collection was carried out directly through filling out paper-based questionnaires as well as using online forms. The findings of this study revealed that producers’ attitude and satisfaction gave significant positive influences on the production intention of natural dyes batik products. Moreover, the findings exhibited the significant effects of social value, quality value, and green value on the attitude and satisfaction of the producer. Attitude was also determined by economic value, but satisfaction was insignificantly affected by economic value. Production intention was strongly predicted by satisfaction and also determined by attitude. The results of this study support in enhancing the concept of natural dyes batik production, which also provide an important role toward sustainable production.
