This study aims to determine the Effect of Teacher Professional Competence on the Quality of Learning Processes in Office Administration Expertise Packages at Gowa 1 State Vocational School. This research is a quantitative study which shows the effect of X variables on Y variables. The population in this study is 100 people. The sample in this study was 50 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the professional competence of teachers in Gowa 1 State Vocational High School was in a very good category with a percentage level of 88 percent, for the quality of the learning process in Gowa 1 State Vocational High School categorized as very good with a 81.8 percent percentage level. This can be proven by the results of product moment analysis of 0.452 which means the level of relations in the medium category. It can be concluded that there is the Effect of Teacher Professional Competence on the Quality of Learning Processes in the Office Administration Expertise package at Gowa 1 State Vocational School.
The latest learning methods of 21st century emphasizes on student-centered learning and the use of technology in teaching. Flipped Classroom is one of the latest pedagogies that give attention to active learning through the use of technology as an intermediary in learning and teaching. In contrast to the traditional method where the teacher use 'chalk and talk', Flipped Classroom emphasizes on learning through the student's own knowledge construction. Thus, there are two-way interactions which are among the students themselves and between teachers and students. Existing traditional methods have experienced paradigm shift towards the implementation of the methods and patterns that meet the learning styles of students. Implementation of new methods, such as Flipped Classroom are to ensure balanced with the demands of the present century in education system. The main idea of Flipped Classroom is to give meaningful and impactful learning. Previous studies on Flipped Classroom found that this method has positive impacts on student's achievement. Previous researchers also have tested the effectiveness of Flipped Classroom from various aspects such as the use of different instruments for different discipline based on the level of their students. This paper will review a number of studies that have been carried out in assessing the participants after the implementation of Flipped Classroom approach.
Abstract-This research aims at analyzing tourist visits in Makassar City. The research employed a combination of quantitative and qualitative method. Moreover, the data were collected using questionnaire technique throughout the data collection form and questionnaire sheets or agreements as the sources of data and information about tourism aspects, specifically in the arrivals of domestic tourists and foreign tourists in Makassar City. Documentation technique was also used to collect secondary data from credible sources. The research was conducted by investigating documents in The Office of Culture and Tourism of Makassar City where the data had showed some increases in the last few years. The research intended to find out the use of available tourism objects and the searching or the making of new potential tourism objects, natural, socio-cultural, or human-made creation so that the numbers of visiting tourists to Makassar City were increasing.
