The research was aimed to know the effect of the gibberellic acid concentrations and types of varieties on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). Research was conducted from November 2017 until April 2018 in Ciruas Village, Ciruas District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. This research used Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors and three replications. The firs factor was concentration of gibberellic acid (GA3) wich consisted five levels namely G0=0 ppm, G1=10 ppm, G2=20 ppm, G3=30 ppm, G4-40 ppm. The second factors was types of varieties wich consisted two levels namely V1=Hybrids (Pelita), V2=Non Hybrids (Tripang). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, Flowering age, number of flowers, percentage of fall flowers, age of fruit harvest, number of fruits and the weight of fruit. The result showed that the concentration of GA3 has no significant effect on all parameters. Type of varieties gave significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, number of flowers and age of fruit harvest. Type of varieties V1 (hybrids) gave the average on the number of leaves 6 weeks after planted (92,07 sheet), flowering age (42,13 day after planting), and age of fruit harvest (90,26 day after planting). There was no interaction between concentration of GA3 and types of varieties on all parameters.
Indonesia merupakan negara berkembang yang berbasis pertanian termasuk di dalamnya peternakan.Di Kecamatan Pulokulon Kabupaten Grobogan populasi sapi potong mencapai 18.858 ekor dan luas panentanaman pangan mencapai 6.186 hektar. Saat ini, produksi daging sapi Indonesia masih rendah. Berdasarkanpermasalahan ini maka dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui indeks daya dukung (IDD)hijauan pakan dan kapasitas penambahan ternak sapi potong di Kecamatan Pulokulon. Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Pemilihan lokasi menggunakan purposive sampling denganpertimbangan lokasi penelitian memiliki populasi sapi potong 5 besar dari kecamatan yang ada di KabupatenGrobogan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah sekunder yang bersumber dari BPS KabupatenGrobogan dan Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Grobogan. Data kemudian diolah dan dianalisismenggunakan IDD (indeks daya dukung) pakan. Dari data BPS 2018, Jumlah penduduk tahun 2018 sebanyak108.422 jiwa atau 36.003 KK dengan luas wilayah 13.365 hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwaKecamatan Pulokulon memiliki nilai IDD 3,43 (>2) yang menunjukkan ketersediaan pakan masih aman dandapat menambah populasi ternak sebanyak 8.782,23 satuan ternak dari populasi yang ada yaitu 12.281,28satuan ternak.Kata kunci: sapi potong, IDD (indeks daya dukung), hijauan pakan, pengembangan usaha, KecamatanPulokulon
This study aims to determine the daily egg production level (HDP) and Break Event Point (BEP). The research location and respondents were determined intentionally (purposive sampling) with a total of 4 farmers consisting of 1,000 tail respondents, 1,350 heads, 4,500 heads and 6,000 heads. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviewing, recording and observing. The analysis model used is a descriptive analysis model with verbal and mathematical methods. The verbal method is a way of using words to explain a thing, while a mathematical method uses break event point (BEP) analysis. Based on the results of the study it was found that the production level of 51-day Hen Day production (HDP) of laying hens aged 85 weeks between 85.1% -85.3% . Break Event Point (BEP) production obtained from a scale of 1,000 head was 30,379.5 kg, 1,350 tails of 36,282.5 kg, 4,500 tails of 124,180 kg, and 6,000 tails of 159,231.5 kg. Break Event Point (BEP) prices on a 1,000-tail scale of Rp. 16,893, 1,350 scale of Rp. 14,965, a 4,500 scale of Rp. 15,349 and the scale of 6,000 is Rp. 14,698. The conclusion of this study is that the HDP level is still below standard because the maintenance system for laying hens has not been maximized while the yield of the product and the rupiah is above the BEP value so that the laying hens business produces profits
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada usaha tape singkong (Manihot esculenta Crantz) di Kelurahan Kandri Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat biaya, penerimaaan, pendapatan, Break Even Point (BEP) dan kelayakan usaha berdasarkan Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). Metode dasar penelitian metode deskriptif, penentuan responden berdasarkan metode sampel jenuh atau sensus. Responden merupakan pengusaha tape singkong skala rumah tangga sebanyak 20 orang. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi secara langsung. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, BEP dan R/C. Hasil analisis didapatkan untuk satu periode produksi dengan bahan baku sebanyak 22Kg dapat menghasilkan tape singkong sebanyak 16Kg. Biaya tetap yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp.1.414,00 dan biaya variabel sebesar Rp.99.045,00 dengan biaya total sebesar Rp.100.459,00. Harga jual tape singkong Rp.10.000,00 per Kg menghasilkan penerimaan sebesar Rp.160.000,00 dan pendapatan sebesar Rp.59.541,00. Nilai BEP unit diperoleh sebanyak 11Kg per satu periode produksi dengan nilai BEP harga sebesar Rp.6.279,00. Usaha tape singkong memiliki nilai (R/C) sebesar 1,59. Nilai R/C >1 maka usaha layak diusahakan. Teknik pengupasan yang digunakan menghasilkan nilai rendemen yang berbeda. Bahan bakar yang digunakan akan menghasilkan output yang berbeda. Pengusaha dapat menggunakan teknik pengupasan dan bahan bakar dengan nilai BEP rendah dan R/C paling tinggi.
