Production machine is a crucial thing to be taken care of in order to keep the production flow stays in the right time, therefore maintenance management is needed. PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces cables. One of the machines that are used and often experiences downtime is the drawing machine. Preventive Maintenance handling interval schedule could be designed by using Reliability Centered Maintenance II method. There are several ways for the data processing, which are FMEA calculation, RCM II Diagram Decision Worksheet, TTF and TTR parameter calculation, determining the correct distribution using Least Square Curve Fitting and Goodness of Fit, MTTF and MTTR calculation, reliability comparation between the conditions before and after the Preventive Maintenance is implemented, cost savings comparation between the condition before and after the maintenance is done. This research proves that interval 3 formulation with the Pay Off for 361 hours, Dancer for 327 hours, and Double Spooler for 174 hours would enhance the reliability of Pay Off to 52%, so could it to Dancer (to 57%) and Double Spooler (75%). It also proves that by implementing Preventive Maintenance with the formulated interval and the result of RCM II Decision Worksheet indicators would produce in cost savings for the Pay Off part to 25,96%, the Dancer to 35,1%, and Double Spooler to 53,52%.
Each project generally conducts planning and makes a project schedule, when the project should start and completed, how the project will be carried out, and how to provide its resources. Resources are one of the factors that affect the project’s limited amount of profit. So we need a careful and good planning with limited resources in implementing the project in order to use resources efficiently. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the reparation project planning so that there are no more delays in the project by detailing the work package through the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) method, which in previous studies showed that there was a delay of 4 days using the S-curve. The study was carried out on the KMP (Passenger Motor Ship) repair project at the shipyard PT. XYZ The type of research method used is descriptive qualitative case study approach and purposive sampling. Research methods are using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to determine the triggering factors for delays, Critical Path Method (CPM) to determine critical paths, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to determine the division of work package levels, WBS dictionary for job identification and resource requirements. Obtained a percentage of 91.3%. Due to the result of work package similarities is x ≥ 75%, there is a tendency for the work package of the WMP KMP Dictionary to further the KMP Repair Project.
Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) is a joint fabrication technology whose process units are controlled by one computer. Intelitek is well-known CIM brand and even though it is very expensive, it is still a reference for learning in manufacturing, especially industrial engineering because of the sophistication of simulation software and websit ebased lab modules. The long-term goal of this research is to build a low-cost alternative CIM, without including simulation software, using the 32 -bit Arduino Due microcontroller to create competing products which, although very far cheaper than the Intelitek brand, can still deliver the essence of CIM learning at the basic level. This study intends to build 4 Robotic Arm for assembly stations which were traditionally only for material handling needs or with the term loading unloading. The objects assembl ed in this study are one Tetris 4 stack beam. The results showed a 50% failure due to the construction of the Robotic Arm assembly that matched between the components was too loose even though it had been tightened.
