Acetylation is a method of chemically modified starch that can be used to improve the physicochemical properties of starch. The aim of the study was to obtain the pH and concentration of acetic anhydride which gave the best effect on the physicochemical characteristics of acetylated sago starch. The study was arranged using a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern in combination with a suspension pH of 7.0; 8.0; 9.0 and 10.0 with acetic anhydride concentrations of 3%, 6%, 9%, 12% and 15% (volume/weight). The parameters of research include acetyl percent, degree of substitution (DS), water holding capacity (WHC), oil holding capacity (OHC), swelling power, solubility and degree of clarity of the paste. The results at research showed that the combination suspension pH of 8 and 15% concentration of acetic anhydride gave optimal physicochemical characteristics of acetylated sago starch. The all concentrations of acetic anhydride (3 to 15%, v/w) were acetyl percent, DS, solubility and the degree of clarity of the paste increased with the increasing. The WHC and OHC tend the decreasing with the increasing concentration of acetic anhydride. Swelling power was stable with increasing concentration of acetic anhydride.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektifitas pupuk organik cair keong mas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai November 2018 di Desa Sidondo III Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 tahap, tahap pertama adalah pembuatan pupuk organik cair menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu A (Penambahan cangkang keong mas), B (penambahan daging keong mas), C (penambahan cangkang+daging keong mas) dan D (tanpa penambahan keong mas). Tahap kedua adalah aplikasi pupuk organik cair setiap perlakuan di lahan persawahan. Setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali sehingga terdapat 16 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan penambahan cangkang+daging keong mas memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap kandungan N,P,K pupuk cair dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Perlakuan Cangkang+daging keong mas nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi.
Tingkat kebugaran masyarakat Indonesia tergolong rendah, karena itu perlu dipopulerkan gaya hidup aktif berolahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan partisipasi reseptif, persepsi manfaat, aksesibilitas fasilitas dan partisipasi aktif olahraga siswa SD di Indonesia. Penelitian sekunder ini menelaah dan mengolah data yang disediakan Pusat Kajian Literasi Fisik dan Olahraga Pendidikan Sekolah Pascasarjana IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Populasi penelitian ini jumlahnya tak terhingga karena angket disebarkan menggunakan teknik snow ball sampling. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 1314 siswa SD tahun 2021. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi dan uji analisis jalur. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu : 1) terdapat hubungan antara partisipasi reseptif dan persepsi manfaat olahraga, 2) terdapat hubungan antara partisipasi reseptif dan aksesibilitas fasilitas secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui persepsi manfaat olahraga, 3) terdapat hubungan antara partisipasi reseptif dan partisipasi aktif olahraga secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui persepsi manfaat dan aksesibilitas fasilitas olahraga. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah partisipasi reseptif, persepsi manfaat, dan aksesibilitas fasilitas berkontribusi positif pada partisipasi aktif olahraga siswa SD di Indonesia.Kata kunci: partisipasi reseptif; persepsi manfaat; aksesibilitas fasilitas; partisipasi aktif. The level of fitness of the Indonesian people is relatively low, therefore it is necessary to popularize an active sports lifestyle. This study aims to determine the relationship between receptive participation, perceived benefits, accessibility of facilities and active participation in sports for elementary school students in Indonesia. This secondary research examines and processes data provided by the Center for the Study of Physical Literacy and Sports Education at the Postgraduate School of IKIP Budi UtomoMalang. The population of this research is infinite because the questionnaire is distributed using snow ball sampling technique. The sample of this research is 1314 elementary school students in 2021. The analytical technique used is correlation test and path analysis test. The results of this study are: 1) there is a relationship between receptive participation and the perceived benefits of sport, 2) there is a relationship between receptive participation and accessibility of facilities directly or indirectly through the perception of the benefits of sport, 3) there is a relationship between receptive participation and active participation in sports in general. directly or indirectly through the perception of the benefits and accessibility of sports facilities. The conclusion of this study is that receptive participation, perceived benefits, and accessibility of facilities contribute positively to the active participation of elementary school students in sports in Indonesia.
Penyimpanan sangatlah penting dilakukan untuk menghasilkan benih padi gogo yang bermutu dan berkualitas yang akan digunakan sebagai bahan tanam selanjutnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mendapatkan teknik produksi benih padi gogo yang bermutu dan berkualitas dengan perkecambahan terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Kalukubula dan uji perkecambahan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2019 sampai Februari 2020. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan racangan acak kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dua faktor, faktor pertama terdiri atas dua lokasi penyimpanan yaitu: P1= Dalam Ruangan, P2= Luar Ruangan, Sedangkan faktor kedua terdiri atas tiga waktu penyimpanan yaitu: W1=satu bulan dan W2= dua bulan, dan W3= tiga bulan, yang diulang sebanyak enam kali sehingga terdapat 36 unit percobaan dimana setiap unit percobaan terdapat 50 benih dan total benih yang digunakan ialah sebanyak 1.800 benih. Analisis data menggunakan uji Fisher dan dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan uji BNJ pada taraf 1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil panen yang disimpan dalam ruangan selama 3 tiga bulan menghasilkan daya berkecambah (93,00%), waktu berkecambah (2,08 hari), potensi tumbuh maksimum (99,00%) dan persentase benih berjamur (1,33%).
Rice is one of the staple food in Indonesia which is easy to serve and contain high level carbohydrate, thus influenced the daily activities and human health. The aim of this research is producing low glucose healthy parboiled rice and obtaining the chemical content of Mekongga parboiled rice. This research was held Chemistry Laboratory of Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Tadulako University. This research used Mekongga parboiled rice which used completely randomized design with one factor, i.e. kind of treatments, P1 (water soaking with 300 C + steaming for 20 min), P2 (water soaking with 400 C + steaming for 20 min), P3 (water soaking with 500 C + steaming for 20 min), P4 (without water soaking + steaming for 20 min), P5 (without treatment (Control)). Water content, ash content, starch content and sugar reduction were observed in this research. Water soaking with 300 C + steaming for 20 min treatment showed the best result if compared with other treatments in water content level (9.28%), ash content (0.798%), starch content (65.71%), sugar reduction (0.71%), and amylose (23.75%).
