This current study aimed to examine the levels of TPACK among pre-service and in-service science teachers, including several influencing factors such as gender, status, and age. Through a study of TPACK dimensions of the 211 pre-service and in-service biology teachers in junior high school and science teachers in senior high schools were identified. The results depicted that pre-service and in-service science teachers dominate the understanding and application of non-technological dimensions. Otherwise, it was found that technological dimensions needed to be more knowledgeable for pre-service and in-service science teachers. The analysis of the variance test demonstrates significant differences were identified regarding status and age. However, no dimension was found to be significantly different regarding age level. To sum up, pre-service and in-service science teachers have different understandings and applications of ICT integration in science classrooms. Professional teaching can be developed by improving knowledge and skills of technology, pedagogy, content, and their integration.
Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan penuntun praktikum Biologi Umum berbasis problem solving menggunakan 3D pageflip sebagai bahan ajar yang digunakan mahasiswa pada praktikum Biologi umum. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya ketersedian penuntun praktikum Biologi umum di IAIN Kerinci dan menggali pengetahuan dan keterampilan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa. Model yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan penunntun praktikum ini adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari terdiri dari 5 tahap meliputi tahap analisa (analyze), desain (design), pengembangan (develop), implementasi (implementation), dan penilaian (evaluate). Penuntun praktikum divalidasi oleh ahli media sebanyak dua kali dengan perolehan persentase akhir 81% pada kategori sangat valid dan validasi oleh ahli materi sebanyak tiga kali dengan persentase akhir 82% pada kategori sangat valid. Dengan kesimpulan e-modul Genetika berbasis konstruktivisme dilengkapi dengan mind mapping menggunakan 3D pageflip layak digunakan di perguruan tinggi.
Siswa dihadapkan dengan proses pergeseran pola belajar dari masa pandemi menuju pasca pandemi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi belajar siswa sebelum dan setalah pandemi covid 19, di SMAN 5 Sungai Penuh. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian ex post facto dengan pendekatan penelitian kombinasi model Sequential Exlanatory. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa masing-masing siswa memiliki perbedaaan kesiapan dan kondisi pembelajaran yang berbeda selama pandemi menunju pasca pandemi. Hal tersebut di tunjukkan dengan presentase kesiapan dan adapatasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kesiapan siswa selama pandemi covid 19.
This study aims to determine the level of understanding of plant physiology in caring for ornamental plants in the people of Sungai Penuh City. This understanding is related to the understanding of Plant Physiology. If the community already has an understanding of plant physiology, then the community can take advantage of ornamental plants such as greening their homes, increasing income, and being used as medicinal plants. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population and sample in this study were the people of Sungai Penuh City, amounting to 76 people. The instrument used is a test in the form of questions about people's understanding of plant physiology. Data analysis using SPSS and using the percentage formula. The results showed that the understanding of community plant physiology in caring for ornamental plants can be seen that 27 respondents scored "very high", 41 respondents scored "high", 6 respondents scored "medium" and 2 respondents scored "low" and none respondents who scored in the very low category. The average value for this variable is 75.8 (high).
One of the ways to maximize the practicum function carried out in lectures is through the evaluation of practicum programs. So far there has never been an evaluation on practicum, which only focuses on the implementation of the practicum itself. There are many program evaluation models designed by experts. These models tend to be developed in accordance with the objectives of evaluation. One of which is the CSE-UCLA program evaluation model. This study aims to find out assessment systems, program planning, implementation programs and certification program at Botany phanerogamae practicum for students of the tadris biology department, IAIN Kerinci. This research belongs to the category of qualitative research which includes the type of case study method. To get the CSE-UCLA model data, researchers used studies (1) observation, observed Botany Phanerogamae practicum, (2) interviews, department heads, lecturers, practicum and student assistants, (3) documents, data about the vision and mission of the Department, Indonesian national qualification framework Biology Department, practicum objectives contained in the Botany Phanerogamae practicum guide, and organizational structure of the Department of Biology. The results obtained, at the stage of the assessment system the assessment has been owned and implemented, even though there are obstacles to the lack of student attention to the environment. At the program planning stage, it focused on evaluating the feasibility of the organizational structure of the Department of Biology, evaluating the readiness of the ability of lecturers and assistants, advice and infrastructure as well as the labor manager in the Botany Phanerogamae practicum. At the stage of the program implementation has been carried out well and also structured. The Improvement program has been categorized as effective. At the stage of the certification program it has been running effectively and in accordance with the expectations of the
