Quality assurance is a series of related processes and systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance and quality of educators and education personnel, programs and institutions. The quality assurance process identifies aspects of achievement and priority for improvement, provides data as a basis for planning and decision making and helps build a culture of continuous improvement.This study aims to describe the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) as an effort to improve the quality of education in the PKK Department, Faculty of Engineering, Unimed. This study is a qualitative research with case study method. The research was conducted at the Department of Family Welfare Education (PKK) Faculty of Engineering, Unimed, with the subject of the Department of Quality Assurance Team (TPMJ PKK). Data collection techniques: direct observation, document and archive searches, and interviews. The results showed: (1) TPMJ policies and concepts in the form of academic documents and quality documents were prepared by TPMJ PKK; (2) TPMJ PKK as coordinator in planning and implementing learning in the PKK Department; (3) The implementation of the TPMJ is carried out by preparing a design in the form of the TPMJ PKK Cycle; (4) Obstacles faced: leadership commitment, number of auditors, TPMJ PKK activities become routine; (5) Steps to be taken: providing quality assurance experts, building a spirit of quality assurance; (6) Evaluation of TPMJ PKK Implementation is carried out every year; (7) Utilization of the results of TPMJ PKK implementation: building a culture of quality, accreditation; and (8) Development of TPMJ PKK implementation refers to the standard management of BAN PT.
The use of learning resources in the teaching and learning process can increase new motivations and desires and bring a positive influence on students, especially in today's rapid technological era. Advances in packaging some pastry science in one print media in the form of electronic magazines into innovative learning resources containing content accompanied by colored images with structured grammar, attractively packaged and displayed simply to make it easier to understand the concept of the reading content. The purpose of this study is certainly to produce electronic magazines as learning innovations for Tata Boga students in obtaining pastry materials and recipes, and to find out the influence of electronic magazines on students' mastery of learning in pastry practice. The method used in research type research and development (Research and Development). This research was conducted at the Tata Boga Laboratory, Medan State University. The resulting output is in the form of an electronic magazine. The validation results of media experts are known to be 82.5% with valid categories. The validation results of material experts obtained 87.60% with a very valid category. Furthermore, the results of the mastery test were carried out on 3rd semester food students by obtaining an assessment of 90.65% with an excellent category. So it can be concluded that the use of teaching materials in the form of electronic magazines as learning innovations for Tata Boga students is suitable for use in pastry learning.
Nutritional counseling is an essential component of nutrition students to be equipped to address nutritional problems. The objective of the study was to analyze the correlation of nutrition students for teaching presence perception in blended learning to improve the learning outcomes of nutritional counseling stages. The study used a cross-sectional research design, nutrition students in nutritional counseling courses completed the 13-item Community of Inquiry (COI) questionnaire for teaching presence. The results showed that students had higher agreement across the level of teaching presence. The findings of this study suggest that perceived teaching presence was significantly related to improving the learning outcomes of nutritional counseling stages.
This study aims to determine the process and application of cake decorating learning tools in improving students' critical thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that the Inner Case Method-based learning device has met the validity criteria. Based on the results obtained in the field, there is an increase in the percentage of each data in the field from the simulation stage then an increase is made at the trial stage. Based on the data analysis, the learning device developed meets the criteria with a validity value of 3.86 which means it is valid without revision, a practical value of 3.32 which means a high level of practicality, and can increase the average critical thinking ability test score by 74%.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengidentifikasi Karakteristik sosial ekonomi keluarga (Pendidikan orang tua, Pekerjaan orang tua, Pendapatan orang tua, besar keluarga dan besar uang saku remaja). (2) Menganalisis Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Kaki lima . (3) Menganalisis Kejadian Penyakit Diare. (4) Menganalisis Hubungan Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Kaki Lima dengan Kejadian Penyakit Diare di MI Nurul Fadhilah Bandar Setia. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Kaki Lima menggunakan angket, kejadian diare menggunakan angket yang sudah di validasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif dan analisis menggunakan korelasi rank spearman. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi rank spearman menunjukkan terdapat Hubungan Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Kaki Lima dengan Kejadian Penyakit Diare MI Nurul Fadilah Bandar Setia dengan taraf signifikan p= 0.00 (α 0,05) yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Kaki Lima dengan kejadian penyakit Diare di MI Nurul Fadhilah Bandar Setia.
