<p>Calon generasi emas 2045 perlu dibekali dengan pendidikan karakter agar tumbuh menjadi manusia Indonesia seutuhnya. Salah satu nilai karakter yang bisa ditanamkan adalah Catur Paramita. Nilai karakter pada Catur Paramita bersifat universal sehingga layak ditanamkan pada anak sejak usia dini serta memiliki kecocokan dengan nilai karakter bangsa serta kompetensi inti pendidikan anak usia dini pada Kurikulum 2013. Selain itu, anak usia dini sedang mengalami masa keemasan secara kognitif dan karakter sehingga menjadi momentum yang tepat untuk menanamkan pendidikan karakter Catur Paramita. Penanaman konsep Catur Paramita pada anak usia dini memerlukan strategi tertentu dan peran orang tua dan guru.<br />Kata Kunci : Catur Paramita, Anak Usia Dini, Pendidikan Keluarga</p>
Literasi kimia merupakan salah satu literasi yang penting dikembangkan bagi siswa SMP karena kedekatan ilmu kimia dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan sebagai upaya membangun pemahaman kimia secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang strategi pengembangan literasi kimia bagi siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian studi kepustakaan. Data yang dikumpulkan oleh peneliti bersumber dari buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan kurikulum dan pembelajaran kimia di SMP, literasi kimia dan karakteristik siswa SMP. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa literasi kimia dapat dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran kimia bagi siswa SMP dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran kontekstual, memfasilitasi eksperimen, pendekatan terintegrasi tiga aspek kimia dan upaya lainnya. Peran guru dalam pengembangan literasi kimia adalah sebagai sumber belajar, fasilitator, pengelola, demonstrator, pembimbing, motivator dan evaluator.
Human and the environment have an interdependence relationship. The human survival is depends on the environmental condition and vise versa. In fact, the degradation of environmental quality is mostly happen due to human activities. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the environmental education since primary school age. UNESCO has developed the environmental education model consists of three conceptual, they are education about the environment, education in the environment and education for the environment. This UNESCO environmental education development model is suitable to be applied in primary school for inside or outside classroom activities. The teacher’s role in implementing the environmental education model is as a model, motivator, developer and evaluator.
<p><em>The progress of a nation is determined by the quality of Human Resources (HR). One characteristic of qualified human resources is to have multiple intelligences. Multiple intelligences consisting of linguistic, logical-reasoning, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, naturalist, and spatial. Development of multiple intelligences can be done since primary school, one of which is using science learning. The characteristics of the science learning process can allows the growth of multiple intelligences in primary school students.The development of multiple intelligences in primary schools requires important roles of teachers and schools. Multiple intelligences will help students to achieve the specified competency standards.</em></p>
Nowadays industrial revolution era, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is part of skills needed to face global rivalry and complex life challenges. However, these skills incline to be little-mastered. It seems to be necessary to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills from the early-ages, especially for students which are integrated in the learning process. This study is a kind of library research. The result of this study showed is the advancement of HOTS can be done through an open-ended approach. The open-ended approach is able to stimulate the students in getting used to think critically, logically, creatively, collusively, argumentating, until decision making in the form of problem solving which contains analyzing, evaluating, and creating activities. Thus, the open-ended approach is well done in the learning process that can support the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
