This article is devoted to the study of trends in the development of project management in Russia and substantiation of the importance and needs for its application at the level of public authorities in the form of priority national projects and programs aimed at ensuring the breakthrough scientific, technological and socio-economic growth. Projects have been considered from a perspective of a whole society and the state in Russian Federation. The conducted study provides the meta-analysis of contemporary statistical data from multiple international scientific research, strategic state documents and project reports. The data collected shows important practical insights into project management application as a way to solve the problems of economic and digital disparities in different regions within a country. In the framework of the conducted research some risks were identified and analyzed, and as a result, ways of solving potential and emerging problems are proposed. Keywords-national projects, project management, economic and digital disparities, tax burden, sources of funding, science cities, eco-industrial park.
Abstract. In the conditions of the current economic downturn engineering companies in Russia and worldwide are searching for new approaches and frameworks to improve their strategic position, increase the efficiency of the internal business processes and enhance the quality of the final products. Capability maturity models are well-known tools used by many foreign engineering companies to assess the productivity of the processes, to elaborate the program of business process improvement and to prioritize the efforts to optimize the whole company performance. The impact of capability maturity model implementation on cost and time are documented and analyzed in the existing research. However, the potential of maturity models as tools of quality management is less known. The article attempts to analyze the impact of CMM implementation on the quality issues. The research is based on a case study methodology and investigates the real life situation in a Russian engineering company.
Abstract. Agile project management methodologies, tools and techniques have been becoming more and more popular among Russian and foreign software companies. Though the agile software project management methodologies appear to be more flexible and sound alternative to traditional project management approaches, the practice of agile project management implementation needs more research. The article presents the research on the practical results of agile project management implementation in Russian software engineering companies. The survey-based study covers 8 companies and 35 their projects managed with the help of agile methodologies. In contrast to some optimistic researchers of agile practices, the research findings show that in the investigated projects agile project management led to the deterioration of cost and schedule performance. However, the quality, both perceived by clients and assessed by internal technical analysts, improved after the implementation of agile software project management practices.
This article discusses the expediency and efficiency of implementing gamification in education. This study is a meta-analysis of the modern experience of gamification application obtained from numerous international studies, practical cases, and reports of educational entities. The influence of gamification technologies on cognition and learning processes was proved by hardware neurobiological research of students’ brain activity during a game using electroencephalography, functional magnetic resonance tomography, and functional near-infrared spectroscopy. On the basis of an analysis of gamification effects regarding efficiency improvement due to perceptive learning, the conclusions were obtained used in a generalized list of opportunities, problems, and threats of application of gamification elements in education. This study systematizes practical results presented by corporate cases and reference literature, which mention the necessity to use specialized online platforms or automated control systems for systematic implementation of gamification into education. The practical cases in the context of education considered the results of gamification application mainly as positive; however, at the same time, negative results were mentioned, which should be analyzed and which also should be included in the list of threats in this study.
One of the leading trends in modern world economic and economic relations is the formation of smart production. In such conditions, the successful implementation of almost all national and international projects and programs can't be imagined without the using of smart capabilities, since many processes have already been transferred to the digital sphere. In this article, the authors address the main aspects and directions of smart transformation of the system and processes of project management, affecting the success of development and implementation, increasing efficiency and ensuring the competitiveness of projects and programs. The paper identifies and describes possible essential changes in individual processes and project management subsystems, which is based on the using of tools and means of the digital economy; formulated new processes and aspects of management that arise during the smart transformation of the classical model of project management. The main scientific result is the smart transformed model of project management processes developed by smart authors and also the impact that this transformation has on the main criteria (indicators) of project or program effectiveness is determined. In addition, the authors determined the relationship between these processes and carried out their assignment to the stages of the project life cycle, at which it's most advisable to use the capabilities described in the article smart. In conclusion, based on the study, the expected effect that can be achieved through the digital transformation of management processes is described, and author's recommendations are developed on use of smart technologies and their capabilities for transforming the management system in order to increase the efficiency of projects and programs.
