The growth of tertiary institutions is overgrowing. The area of West Java and Banten currently stands as many as 465 universities. This condition triggers increasingly fierce competition between universities to get the attention of consumers; in this case, prospective students — the purpose of the study to find criteria and sub-criteria. Moreover, those values obtained in each of the criteria and sub-criteria. Then, it can be used to evaluate the performance evaluation of Education services at FT-UMT. The method used in this study starts from the Scope Definition Determine the criteria and sub-criteria with Servqual, calculates with AHP, determines the number of each subcriteria excellent, good, average, satisfactory and poor). Servqual and AHP methods used in this study consist of 5 main criteria, such as tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. An average bag value must be obtained if employees have excellent value> = 0.3880, good value> = 0.2491 and value <0388, Average value> = 0.1170 and value <0.2491, Satisfactory value> = 0.0885 and value <0.1170 and Poor value < 0.0885.
Abstrak -Kualitas merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu dijaga dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dan meminimalkan biaya produksi. Sebuah perusahaan pembuatan ban motor mengalami kecacatan produksi sebanyak 5028 buah selama bulan februari 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan menurunkan jumlah produk cacat pada proses pemasakan green tyre di area curing. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah seven tools khususnya diagram pareto dan diagram fishbone serta dianalisis penyebabnya dengan 5W1H. Dari enam jenis cacat green tyre, under cure merupakan faktor yang paling dominan (40%) yang menyebabkan terjadinya cacat. Perbaikan Pneumatic Problem yang merupakan problem terjadinya under cure dari faktor manusia, mesin dan metode mampu menurunkan cacat sebesar 48% dari 891 pieces di bulan Februari menjadi 463 pieces di bulan Mei. Penurunan cacat pada pneumatic problem berefek pada penurunan jumlah cacat produk green tyre dari 5206 pieces di bulan Februari menjadi 4699 pieces di bulan Mei.Abstract --Quality is one aspect that needs to be maintained in increasing consumer confidence and minimizing production costs. A motorcycle tire manufacturing company has a production defect of 5028 during February 2018. This study aims to reduce the number of defective products in the green tire cooking process in the curing area. The methods used in this study are seven tools, especially Pareto diagrams, and fishbone diagrams and analyzed the cause is 5W1H. Of the six types of green tire defects, under cure is the most dominant factor (40%) that causes disability. The improvement in Pneumatic Problems which the problem of under cure is human factors, machinery, and the method of being able to reduce defects by 48% from 891 pieces in February to 463 pieces in May. The decrease in defects in pneumatic problems affects the reduction in the number of defects in green tire products from 5206 pieces in February to 4699 pieces in May.
Every job has the opportunity of the risk because occurrence of work accidents can be caused by various factors. PT. CA is a large distributor of motorcycle spare parts which has activities including receiving goods from fabrication and then storing them in temporary warehouses before being distributed to dealers in various regions. The company's activities have a large potential for accidents due to several operations. To hazard identification, risk assessment, and determining control in any work that occurs or has the potential to occur, it is necessary to analyze using HIRADC. The method used is a descriptive method described in the flow process and then identified possible hazards that occur in each activity step. After the identification process is complete, a risk assessment is carried out to determine the form of control. The object of research is the receiving section of the work area. The results of this study are that the receiving section has 7 existing activities and there are 20 potential hazards that are possible, from these potentials the current control is to maximize APD to minimize danger. The highest level of risk is substantial in the activity of moving cargo to temporary storage or inspection areas with a potential danger of crashing into workers which has an impact on limb injuries, fractures, and even death, so this activity is a concern to avoid work accidents. In addition, it is determined that hazard control is carried out by means of forklift lanes that are not allowed to be passed by workers and control recommendations are in the form of setting SOPs, ensuring that forklifts complete their activities to carry out inspections. Tujuan dari suatu proses rekayasa engineering antara lain untuk membantu perkerjaan manusia sehingga akan meningkatkan produktifitas, effisien dan kualitas produk yang lebih baik dan konsisten. Mesin pemotong Graphite packing merupakan suatu hasil inovasi yang dirancang untuk melakukan pemotongan. Dengan mesin ini pemotongan sheet packing yang sebelumnya dikerjakan secara manual dengan pemahatan/pemboran dan pengguntingan digantikan secara otomatis oleh mesin. Agar tujuan inovasi ini tercapai yaitu produktivitas dan effisiensi maka konstruksi mesin harus dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga mudah dan ergonomis dalam pengoperasiannya. Disamping itu juga perlu dihitung kebutuhan daya yang diperlukan sehingga bisa ditentukan daya motor penggerak yang sesuai. Mesin potong Graphite packing dirancang dengan motor listrik sebagai penggerak utama. V-belt, pulley dan roda gigi digunakan untuk meneruskan putaran motor ke pisau pemotong. Putaran motor dari 1400 rpm diteruskan ke pulley input reduser menjadi 280 rpm. Oleh reduser putran ini direduksi menjadi 28 rpm. Dari pulley output reduser putaran diteruskan ke pulley penggerak poros cutter menjadi 10 rpm. Putaran inilah yang akan menggerakkan cutter. Daya pemotongan merupakan penjumlahan dari daya pemotongan langsung Graphite oleh cutter ditambah dengan daya yang diperlukan untuk memutar komponen-komponen yang bergerak. Dengan menggunakan perumusan gaya dan daya potong serta daya untuk menggerakkan komponen diperoleh bhawa untuk melakukan pemotongan Graphite dengan tebal maksimum 3 mm diperlukan daya pemotongan sebesar 87,4 Watt. Jika digunakan motor dengan effisiensi 90% maka daya motor yang diperlukan sebesar 97,11 Watt atau setara dengan 0,13 HP. Kata Kunci : Mesin, potong, daya, motor
