This study aims to develop an ethnoscience module as a teaching material for pond ecosystems in science learning at Public Elementary School 36 Seluma Regency. The Research and Development (R & D) method is used in this study. The stages are potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision, mass production. The information came from the village of Tanah Abang, the Serawai tribe and Public Elementary School 36 Seluma. The results showed that the final product in the form of an ethnoscience-based science module with an Artificial Ecosystem in the pond was suitable for use. This feasibility refers to the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) in the category of having passed stage I and stage II by obtaining an average design feasibility score of 87%, material feasibility 86%, and presentation feasibility 83%. Thus obtained an average feasibility of 85%.
Potensi lokal meliputi: waduk PLTA musi, danau suro, kebunteh kabawetan, air terjun sengkuang, sumber air panas sempiang, sungai musi, dan bunga rafflesia arnoldi.
Science communication skills are the process of conveying information or data from observations or experimental results to be known and understood by others. Student worksheets are printed teaching materials in the form of guides for carrying out an investigation or problem-solving activities concerning the basic competencies that must be achieved and are intended to streamline learning and help students master understanding, skills, and attitudes. Student worksheets developed in this study think talk write (TTW) based student worksheets. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of TTW-based student worksheets in improving science communication skills. The research method used was an experimental design with a randomized control group pre-test post-test. Data collection was done by giving 18 items of pre-test and post-test. Data analysis was performed using the N-Gain test and one-tailed t-test. Based on the results of this study, it was found that an increase in the results of the N-Gain test was 58.68%, while the results of the one-tailed t-test showed that the TTW-based student worksheets could help students improve their science communication skills.
The aim of this study is to determine the validation, practicality, feasibility, reliability coefficient, level of difficulty and the distinction between critical thinking based assessment to measure student critical thinking skills. This research uses a research and development type with a quantitative approach. This research procedure uses the Borg & Gall development model, which includes 8 steps, namely potential problems, information gathering, product development, expert validation, expert revision, small-group testing, product revision, final product. The research instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMPN 8, SMPN 10, SMPN 22 Bengkulu City. The results showed that the results of the assessment instruments carried out met the criteria of valid, reliable, practical, feasible, had distinctive power, scoring questionnaires and the level of difficulty that was spread with the normal level of data distribution. This research is a research in the field of natural sciences that can be used by science subject educators to make a positive contribution to the development of natural sciences, particularly in junior high schools, MT equivalents and B non-formal education. This study is different from previous studies and is considered to be different from other studies.
Tujuan dari paper ini adalah mengeksplorasi bagaimana pelatihan kepemimpinan visioner bagi guru SMK Negeri 3 Rejang Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu.
