This article aims to measure the level of career self-efficacy among secondary school students. It determines whether the variable of career self-efficacy could be correlated to the variable of study streams. A total of 1060 respondents had been selected by systematic cluster random samplings from 106 national secondary schools in Terengganu. This survey used a set of questionnaires that consists of two parts: (i) Demographic information (ii) Career Self-efficacy that had been tested and has high levels of validity and reliability with alpha cronbach value was 0.95. The data obtained had been analyzed using descriptive analysis that included t-Test, mean, and standard deviation to meet the research objectives. The result showed that the level of students' career self-efficacy is significantly different in accordance with their study streams. It could be concluded that the level of career self-efficacy among the students has been influenced by their study stream. Hence, any career guidance and counseling activities should consider the factor of study streams.
Leadership issue is one of the vital elements in achieving success of a school organization. This issue has been debated among educational reseachers and scholars from time to time. However Islamic leadership theory is still less emphasized in schools compared to Western leadership theory. Thus, this article aims to elucidate the concept of Ulul Albab leadership and identify its distinguished characteristics. Notwithstanding this Ulul Albab concept has been implemented in several schools, its achievement also requires dynamic leadership. It is found that the Ulul Albab leadership has three main dimensions namely Quranic, Encyclopedic and Ijtihadikc and these are in line with the Quranic verses (16 verses) related to the Ulul Albab theme. The findings give some implications on the leadership of future leaders and generations.
Islamic ethics is an important aspect of Islam after the creed and sharia. It is one of the most valuable bases of Islam. To explain this, the current technology needs to be used. This article aims to shed light on the importance of using current technologies in the studies of ethics in Islam. This study uses library research method to collect important data. This article concludes that the current situation presents a high need for current technologies such as augmented reality, games and others to explain Islamic ethical concepts.
