This study aims to describe the findings related to the affective aspects of the novel “Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan” by Tasaro GK. This is motivated by the facts which show that learning of Islamic History and Culture is still mostly done based on cognitive aspects alone. This is certainly not in line with the characteristics of these learning which not only include the development of the cognitive aspects of students, but also demands empowerment in the affective and psychomotor aspects. So that one alternative problem solving that can be offered is to use novels as a source of affective learning. The discussion in this study was carried out with a content analysis consisting of four steps; data procurement, data reduction, data analysis, and inference. The results of data analysis show that there are various forms of simulations on the level of affective aspects in the novel “Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan”.

Kejadian bencana terus meningkat di Indonesia. Sebagian besar dari kejadian bencana tersebut merupakan bencana lingkungan hidup seperti angin puting beliung, banjir dan tanah longsor. Banjir besar-besaran terjadi di beberapa kabupaten di Kalimantan Tengah pada bulan November 2021. Berdasarkan data dari BPBD Kota Palangka Raya, tercatat 31.013 warga yang terdiri atas 8.876 keluarga menjadi korban banjir. Selain dampak fisik, dampak psikologis pasca bencana banjir perlu menjadi perhatian. Dampak psikologis yang terjadi yaitu berupa kecemasan, stres dan trauma pada para korban. Trauma pada korban bencana alam tidak dapat dibiarkan berlarut-larut agar korban bencana dapat terus melanjutkan kehidupannya secara normal, maka diperlukan terapi trauma/ pemulihan trauma (trauma healing). Khusus untuk anak-anak usia sekolah, maka sebaiknya dilakukan dengan pendekatan pedagogis. Pendekatan pedagogis yang digunakan mengacu pada pola perkembangan dan pendidikan yang telah ditempuh atau sedang dialami oleh korban pengungsian khususnya anak-anak, sehingga proses trauma healing dapat berjalan dan berpengaruh sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Selain pemulihan trauma pasca bencana juga perlu adanya pendidikan lingkungan yang memiliki peran strategis dalam mencegah dan mengurangi resiko bencana lingkungan hidup. Pendidikan lingkungan harus dapat memfasilitasi berbagai proses belajar pada ranah kognitif dan kesadaran, sikap dan perilaku, dan tindakan kolektif untuk melembagakan perilaku ramah lingkungan dan sensitif bencana..  Kata Kunci: bencana banjir; trauma healing; pendidikan lingkungan

Along with the times, many students, especially in universities, have no character as students. Politeness, manners, and morals have begun to be underestimated. So, it is important to apply multicultural education in university as an alternative and solution to make students with the character through multicultural values. The research method used in this study is a descriptive analysis by collecting various data and sources, then analyzing and systematically describing the urgency of multicultural education in character development in the era of society 5.0 at universities. The study's results found that students' character in university began to decline. Multicultural cultural values ​​have been abandoned. Many students have ignored etiquette, manners, and behavior, especially lecturers as teachers or educators. So, through multicultural education, it is expected to contribute in terms of character building. It is implemented by providing good examples such as the habituation of respect for others, mutual respect, and advice if there is bad behavior.

Every human must experience a learning process to acquire knowledge in their life, then use it in developing its potential. The purpose of this study is to provide a rationalization related to the relationship between philosophy, learning theory and Islamic education curriculum. This is important, because the human mindset must be guided and directed properly. Of course, by being provided with the right method, as well as a clear goal in order to obtain optimal knowledge. The method in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach that is processed from various literatures or references. The research findings state that there are many complicated problems in the learning process. Educators are sometimes not able to fully understand the mindset of their students. In addition, the application of learning theory provided by educators is not in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum applicable in their educational institutions. So, the solution to solving the problem is to analyze the curriculum, learning theory through a philosophical view. An educator must also be able to understand his students or often called an analysis of student needs. Then, increase the mastery of the material based on learning theory and curriculum objectives. Thus, the output produced from the learning process will be truly maximal and as expected.
