The aim of the research is the assessment of environmental hazards and occupational safety to implement the most effective ways to protect workers, the environment from the effects of hazardous and harmful factors when using chemicals in agriculture.Research methods: monographic, abstract‐logical, mathematical and logical‐linguistic modeling, computational‐ constructive, probability theory, expert estimates, etc.Results: a model of integrated assessment of environmental hazards and labor protection in agriculture, including nine assessment blocks: 1) soil contamination by pesticides, agrochemicals and heavy metals; 2) the balance of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, ensuring environmental protection; 3) the load of livestock on pastures; 4) the ratio of stabilizing and destabilizing factors; 5) the risk of waste and by‐products; 6) the production of environmentally safe products; 7) working conditions in the workplace; 8) the level of investment in labor protection, environment and environmentally safe products; 9) the level of environmental culture and culture of labor protection of workers and the population.Conclusion: the Model is tested in the working conditions of LLC ʺMalinischiʺ of the Pronsky district of the Ryazan region in manual mode and can be the basis for the implementation of information and computer technology assessment.

The methodology, technique and model of complex assessment of ecological danger and labor protection in agricultural production, which were the basis for creation of a package of programs of digital technology of this process for use by farms in practical activity, are developed on the basis of long-term researches. The program package includes the following blocks: assessment of soil and product contamination by pesticides; assessment of soil and product contamination by heavy metals; assessment of hazard class of waste and by-products; assessment of working conditions in the workplace; assessment of ecological culture and culture of labor protection of workers and the population; assessment of the level of investment in labor protection, environment and environmentally safe products; assessment of the impact of mineral fertilizers on the environment; assessment of the load of cattle on pastures and the ratio of stabilizing and destabilizing factors. The software product developed in accordance with the model of integrated assessment of the environmental and occupational safety, held a pilot production testing in JSC «Malinischi» in Pronsky district of the Ryazan region, in which deviations from the risk indicators from criterion values were determined. On the basis of the obtained data, measures to reduce the impact of negative factors on the environment are developed.
Annotation-The crop capacity in different soil and climatic zones depends on implemented technologies of tillage and sowing, crop rotation and type of work tools of the machinery complex. In every zone, main and additional tilling should be made with different work tool types and to different depth corresponding to the zone conditions. The tillage should also provide conditions for plant growth and development, as well as accumulation and rational usage of accumulated moisture during the whole vegetation period. The work demonstrates that tillage by foreign machinery not tailored to Russian conditions as compared to locally produced machines withers the soil away, reduces crop capacity and increases the base costs. In this connection, the team of researchers has elaborated a universal technology for soil treatment and types of work tools for machines to put it into life. Having said that, the type and dimensions of farms dictates the degree of universalization of newly created machines, so they should have replaceable working elements or interchangeable modules. The methods for determining the metal consumption for machines of different type, their draught resistance and performance of equipment were developed; the calculations are also presented. The study yields dependencies that allow establishing adequate velocities of equipment and operating width of tilling and sowing machines that ensure maximum performance of equipment with tractors having different draught class. The parameters of machines are used by the engineers of LLC Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant, LLC Varnaagromash and Yaroslavovich Production Company for designing and putting into production a complex of tillage and sowing machinery for tractors of draught class 1,4; 3; 5 and 6-7. The developed complex of machines performs all components of tillage technologies for specific working conditions and corresponds to functional specifications of agricultural machinery, environment protection, ergonomics and energy saving. Thus, the developed import-substitution technology and complex of machines enable increased crop capacity and reduced base cost of cultivated crops, which is the basis for liquidation of food dependence of Russia.
