Islamic religious learning at school, which is only two hours a week, makes parents aware of the importance of religious education as one of the provisions of life for their children. The origins of Madrasah Diniyah are similar to those of Islamic boarding schools, beginning with recitation in mosques, langar, and surau. Madrasas, as Islamic educational institutions, have emerged and developed along with the entry and development of Islam in Indonesia. The importance of religious education is also felt by several madrasas, which require their students to live in dormitories, or what we know as <em>boarding.</em>

PAI is a family of personality development courses ( MPK) in the structure of general courses (MKU) that must pass and have a weight of 3 credits, with a course code of UNU 201. Judging from its position, it is a course that equips students in the form of basic abilities about understanding, passion and experience of basic human values, as creatures of God, as individuals, family members, communities, citizens and as part of nature. In addition to PAI lectures, UNY implements the PAI tutorial program which is a special activity that emphasizes deepening and mastering the practical skills of worship and literacy of the Qur'an which is required of students who take Islamic Religious Education courses. In general the approach applied is the approach of academic subjects. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep terkait peserta didik, Pandangan aliran nativisme, empirisme, dan konvergensi tentang peserta didik serta tinjauan pendidikan Islam terkait faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perkembangan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni penelitian kepustakaan yaitu jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dengan membaca artiekel yang relevan, buku-buku serta majalah dan sumber data lainnya untuk menghimpun data dari berbagai literatur, baik perpustakaan maupun di tempat-tempat lain yang menyediakan rujukan baik daring dan luring. Hasil bacaan tersebut kemudian dikumpulkan dikodifikasi kemudian dianalisis sesuai dengan pedoman yang telah ditetapkan untuk mendapatkan gambaran terkait konsep peserta didik dalam pandangan teori empirisme, naturalisme, konvergensi dan tinjauan pendidikan Islam. Merujuk pada hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dikemukakan bahwa Peserta didik itu adalah anggota masyarakat yang yang berusaha mengembangkan potensi diri melalui proses pembelajaran yang tersedia pada jalur, jenjang, dan jenis pendidikan tertentu yang memiliki karakteristik dan ciri-ciri tertentu. Pandangan aliran nativisme oleh Schopenhauer berkeyakinan bahwa anak yang baru lahir membawa bakat, kesanggupan, dan sifat-sifat tertentu. Bakat, kemampuan dan sifat-sifat yang dibawa sejak lahir menentukan dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak manusia. Pendidikan dan lingkungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan anak, Empirisme John Lock perkembangan anak menjadi manusia dewasa itu sama sekali ditentukan oleh lingkungannya atau oleh pendidikan dan pengalaman yang diterimanya sejak kecil, Naturalisme oleh J.J Rousseau bahwa semua anak yang dilahirkan berpembawaan baik, dan pembawaan baik, anak akan menjadi rusak karena dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan. Konvergensi dengan Wiliam Stem bahwa pendidikan sangat bergantung pada faktor pembawaan atau bakat dan lingkungan Tinjauan Pendidikan Islam terkait faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan peserta didik yakni terkait dengan konsep fitrah yang terdiri dari: fitrah sebagai khalifah dan fitrah tauhid.
The development of the interpretation of the Qur'an in Indonesia is certainly different from the developments in the Arab world. These differences are mainly due to differences in cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The interpretation of the Qur'an in Indonesia goes through a longer process when compared to that which applies in its place of origin. This study is a library research with historical approach. Howard analyzed one aspect of the scientific tradition of Indonesian Muslims, namely the study of the Qur'an as the main source of Islamic teachings. The Sunni Islamic tradition is important to Indonesian Muslim writers because it consistently draws on the sources of this tradition, namely the Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the works of scholars throughout Islamic history. Models of works on the exegesis of the Qur'an in Indonesia are basically derived from the works of Egyptian writers one hundred years ago.
The teacher's role in improving student achievement is very dominant and plays an important role. Professional teachers are required to have competence as learning agents. Teachers who have educator certificates will better understand learning management for students, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The quality of learning management has not been met by certified teachers in their fields. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The technique used is a survey technique, namely collecting information through field data that describes factors related to the variables of teacher professional competence, learning management, and quality of student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. Based on the results of the main hypothesis test, it can be concluded that the professional competence of teachers does not have a significant effect on learning management in improving student achievement in Islamic subjects at the UPTD Education Pasirwangi Garut. This can be seen from the results obtained, namely t count is smaller than the t table. is tcount = 1.9686 <ttable = 2.0395. Thus, H0 is valid.
