The purpose of this development is to develop podcast media in Mandarin learning that focuses on listening skill of Chinese Language Education Study Program students 2019, State University of Malang.The development model used is the ADDIE model with five development stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media developed by the researcher of this present study has been validated by media experts and material experts and tested on the 2019 Chinese language education study program students who take Listening 1. Development data were obtained from validation questionnaires for media experts and material experts, observation sheets, and questionnaires for the student. The results showed that the use of this podcast media helps in improving students' listening skill and also explains vocabulary in easy-to-understand podcast media. In addition, this podcast media is suitable to be used as a learning resource in improving students' listening skill. Based on the above discussion, it can be concluded that this podcast media can be used to practice Chinese listening skills. Keywords: development, podcast media, listening skill Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran podcast dalam pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin yang berfokus pada keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin angkatan 2019 Universitas Negeri Malang. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang peneliti gunakan adalah model ADDIE yang berisi lima tahapan pengembangan, yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti telah divalidasikan kepada ahli media dan ahli materi, serta telah melalui uji coba pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin angkatan 2019 yang mengambil mata kuliah Menyimak 1. Data pengembangan didapatkan dari lembar angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, lembar observasi, dan lembar angket mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media podcast yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti membantu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa dan juga penjelasan kosakata dalam media podcast yang mudah dipahami. Selain itu media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti sudah sesuai untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa. Berdasarkan pembahasan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media podcast yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dapat digunakan untuk melatih keterampilan Menyimak bahasa Mandarin. The Mandarin Language Education Study Program at the Universitas Negeri Malang routinely reviews the curriculum once a year. The learning curriculum is intended to develop and be relevant to the needs of students at all time. One way to be able to adjust the curriculum to the needs of students is to know the learning orientation of students studying Mandarin. Hence, the purpose of this study was to determine the learning orientation of third-year students of Mandarin study program at the Universitas Negeri Malang in learning Mandarin. The supporting instruments used were questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines. Data were analysed using the Miles and Huberman analysis. The results show that there were four learning orientations in Mandarin, namely learning Mandarin because it is an important communication tool at this time; it is considered to be easier to get a job; the popularity of Mandarin; and Mandarin can increase self-confidence. Based on this, the orientation of learning Mandarin for third-year students of Mandarin study program at the Universitas Negeri Malang was extrinsic and instrumental. Chinese language learning which was originally carried out offline has been shifted to an online system due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This situation makes the teachers unable to freely control the students. The activeness of students to get involved and participate is also reduced due to the limited interaction in the online learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the mentimeter learning media on student learning outcomes and to describe the use of mentimeters in online learning of the Chinese across-interests program. This study uses a quantitative approach and also a qualitative descriptive approach. The sources of data used are second grade students of the across-interests program at Senior High School 1 of Malang as many as 22 students. The data obtained in this study were in the form of average scores of pretest and posttest results and the documentation in the form of screenshots from presentations and quizzes. The data analysis was carried out by hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the mentimeter media was effectively used in learning Chinese and on average students were able to run the mentimeter and were able to play the quizzes that had been provided for online learning in second grade students of the across-interests program at 1st Senior High School of Malang. Keywords: mentimeter; online learning; Chinese language Abstrak: Pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin yang semula dilaksanakan secara luring dialihkan menjadi sistem daring akibat pandemi Covid-19. Hal tersebut membuat guru tidak bisa leluasa dalam mengontrol peserta didik. Keaktifan peserta didik untuk ikut terlibat dan berpartisipasi pun menjadi berkurang karena terbatasnya interaksi dalam pembelajaran daring. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran mentimeter terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dan mendeskripsikan penggunaan mentimeter pada pembelajaran daring lintas minat bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan juga pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas XI lintas minat SMA Negeri 1 Malang sebanyak 22 peserta didik. Perolehan data dalam penelitian ini berupa rata-rata skor hasil tes pretest dan posttest serta dokumentasi yang berupa hasil tangkapan layar dari presentasi dan kuis mentimeter. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa media mentimeter efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin dan rata-rata peserta didik dapat menjalankan mentimeter serta mampu memainkan kuis yang telah disediakan pada pembelajaran daring di kelas XI Lintas Minat SMA Negeri 1 Malang. This research and development has the aim of developing an e-module for learning Chinese. The developed e-module is adapted from the Chinese syllabus for high school grade 10 KD 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and uses the general theme, self-introduction. E-modul Perkenalan Diri is expected to help students of high school grade 10 study independently. This research uses the ADDIE development model which the development process has five steps; analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The type of data in this study is qualitative data and supported by quantitative. The instruments used in this research are daily notes and questionnaires for validators and students. The e-module developed has gone through a validation process carried out by material experts and media experts and has gone through a trial process with class X IBB students from SMA Laboratorium UM as the subject. Based on the results of material validation questionnaires, media validation questionnaires, and student questionnaires, e-modules get a worthy category to be used as independent teaching materials. E-modul yang dikembangkan telah melewati proses validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta telah melewati proses uji coba dengan subjek siswa kelas X SMA Laboratorium UM. Berdasarkan hasil angket validasi materi, angket validasi media dan angket siswa, e-modul mendapatkan kategori layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar mandiri.
