This research aims to know the understanding of the educational community, especially at the vocational level of the practice of Pancasila in the field of education and formulate aspects in the Pancasila ethical and ethical education model. The type of research used is R&D research. The subjects in this study were teachers, students, and Principals of Vocational Schools in the City of Yogyakarta, in the field of Technology and Engineering expertise. While the objects in this study are Pancasila’s values, the behaviours of teachers and students, and the ethics and culture-based education model of Pancasila. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation (triangulation). Data analysis used quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study are: (1) respondents believe there has been a disorientation in applying the values of Pancasila as the basis of the Republic of Indonesia as much as 80%; (2) systemic ethics and culture based education model of Pancasila which is developed from interrelated and facilitated inputs, processes, outputs and feedback.
In this study, the performance of the Long-Range (LoRa) communication and 3DR Radio Telemetry modules was evaluated. The suitability of these two communication options was assessed for the application on an autonomous sailboat prototype. The communication range and power consumption of each module are the primary factors for selection. The test results found that LoRa technology can send data stably with a range of up to 10.5 km, while the 3DR Radio Telemetry module can only send data stably up to 300 m. The LoRa technology consumes 9.56 Wh of electrical energy per day for the autonomous sailboat application, while the 3DR Radio Telemetry consumes 11.07 Wh of electrical energy per day. It was decided that LoRA technology would be implemented on the autonomous sailboat.
This study has been conducted in order to produce a learning module of lathe machining in vocational high school 2 Yogyakarta. Furthermore, the feasibility of the module and the user response are also evaluated. The method that used in this research was research and development using 4D model. The instrument collection data used in this research was questionnaire. Questionnaire is used at the stage of validation and assessment product by experts and students as product user. From the feasibility test, it could be concluded that the learning media produced is in very feasible level based on all validation score from material expert lecture, material expert teacher, learning media expert lecturer, and students as users.
This study aims to reveal the relevance of practical competencies in mechanical engineering vocational schools to the industry’s competencies in the Yogyakarta Special Region. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using survey research methods with five research subjects representing the manufacturing industry. The results of this study are, in general, the competence of learning machining practices at Mechanical Engineering Vocational Schools is very relevant to the manufacturing industry’s needs. Details of competency relevance data for each practical subject are as follows: (1) competency in lathe machining 42.10% relevant and 57.90% highly relevant; (2) competence of 40.90% milling machining is relevant and 59.10% highly relevant; (3) competence in grinding 33.33% relevant and 66.67% very relevant; (4) numerical control/computer numerical control and computer aided manufacturing competences 2.90% relevant and 97.10% highly relevant.
