The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic virus caused the family's role in children's education to become increasingly strategic. Until now not many studies have examined the role of families in children's education. This study aims to analyze deeply the role of the family in children's education. This research is a qualitative ethnographic study. Data were collected using in-depth interview techniques and participatory observation. The data source is the primary source (both parents and mothers) approached by purposive technique and continued with a snowball. The data is then validated by source triangulation techniques and methods. The collected data is then analyzed using the interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that there were 7 main roles of the family in children's education, namely: (1) The function of the faith; (2) Educational functions; (3) The function of socialization; (4) Protection or protection functions; (5) Affection function; (6) Economic functions; (7) Recreational functions. After going through a process of discussion with relevant theories and research results, it was found that the seven roles holistically had never been raised together before. This is a new finding from this research, where this finding will certainly be different from the findings if there is no pandemic, or if disasters occur in other forms.
Entering a new normality or better known as new normal makes all people have to be brave and care about the health aspects as an antipathy step or an adaptation to the Covid 19 pandemic that is still ongoing without exception those who are involved in the field of Education. Many teachers are stuttered and forced to use various online distance learning tools, ranging from Google classes, Webinars through Zoom, Google Meet, Hang Out, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx. This paper presents the results of monitoring and evaluating the use of ICT in Madrasah. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method consisting of learning documentation, observation, and in-depth interviews with the use of ICT in Madrasah. The results of the study revealed that the use of ICT by teachers in madrasah was used to search material, download material, use email, practice tests online, use of google classroom, and webinars using the Zoom application, whereas the use of ICT to students was more in the form of assignments to students making videos, uploads school work using social media accounts (facebook, Instagram, twitter), use of the Quiper e-learning application, and QR Barcodes. the main problem is that networking is sometimes difficult to obtain and many students are even more literate in using online applications than the teacher himself.
The Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for Christian Religious Education teachers to instill Christian religious values , which can now influence the emergence of student character disruption. It is feared that the state of the Covid-19 pandemic will change student behavior in the wrong direction. The purpose of this study was to internalize Christian religious values in the face of character disruption. This study uses a qualitative research method, with the data collection technique used is purposive sampling. The researcher wanted to get information about inculcating Christian religious values in dealing with the character disruption of students at SMPN 04 Nanggala SATAP. The results showed that the internalization of Christian religious values to SMPN 04 Nanggala SATAP included spiritual values and biblical morals. It was doing in praying, reading the Word, loving, socializing, and being responsible. If this action is carried out relevantly, it can shape students' character in dealing with character disruption during the pandemic.
Christian religious education learning during the pandemic needs to find an active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning model. Students experience boredom with the monotonous online learning system and seem less interactive, so it becomes a challenge when Face-to-face Learning (PTM) is implemented during the pandemic. It impacts student learning outcomes in the classroom, which has decreased. This research aims to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students in online learning and PTM. The research method used is classroom action research by applying several stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The researcher applies the CBSA-based PAIKEM model on Christian Religious Education subjects. Learning CBSA-based PAIKEM makes students active by carrying out various activities such as discussing, solving problems, forming ideas, compiling plans, and reports in-class learning. After two cycles, the study results showed a significant increase from the initial conditions, and student learning outcomes met the KKM for Christian Religious Education subjects.
