__________________________________________________________________________ AbstrakStudi ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi dosen terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital, yang biasa disebut information & communication technology (ICT), pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang digunakan oleh dosen kepada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan data kuantitatif. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan dua perangkat penelitian berupa kuesioner, dan wawancara terhadap dosen bahasa Inggris di PNJ. Pengkajian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi terkait persepsi dosen terhadap penggunaan ICT, dan juga mengidentifikasi kendala dalam penggunaan ICT pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 100% responden setuju bahwa pengajaran bahasa Inggris sangat cocok dipadukan dengan ICT, juga setuju bahwa penggunaan ICT juga dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi sangat menyenangkan. Sedangkan, terkait kegunaan ICT bagi Mahasiswa, 18% responden tidak setuju dengan manfaat pengajaran ICT yang akan mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan (yang layak) dimasa yang akan datang. Selain itu juga, 15 hingga 25% responden juga tidak setuju bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan ICT dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami materi secara mendalam, kemudian meningkatkan nilai bahasa Inggris, dan membantu mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala ditemukan secara intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Kendala yang dialami dosen paling besar merupakan kompetensi dosen dalam menggunakan ICT sekaligus juga pengalaman-pengalaman buruk yang pernah dialami dosen dalam penggunaan ICT dalam kelas. Pada kendala ekstrinsik, masalah yang dihadapi dosen adalah kurangnya pelatihan ICT dan masalah koneksi internet. Kendala-kendala ini membuat para dosen menjadi berpikir dua kali dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan ICT dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi dosen bahasa Inggris selaku pelaksana di lapangan dan bagi institusi sebagai pembuat kebijakan. This research is aimed at describing the application of Journalistic Code of Ethics on news writing related to Ahok in Governor Election of 2017 published by Kompas. The method used is content analysis as in qualitative approach, then the data analysis technique used is a filling system by making the categories based on the Articles 3, 4 and 8 of Journalistic Code of Ethics to classify the obtained data. Results of the study showed that during July to August 2016 Kompas published 4 (four) news articles and applied almost all of the Articles which are the Article 3 paragraph (b), (c), (d), Article 4 paragraph (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and Article 8 paragraph (a), (b) on its news articles. Only 1 (one) news article which did not apply the Article 3 paragraph (a) about clarifying information.Key words: Journalistic code of ethics, news articles, governor election
Mathematical reasoning is defined as an activity of mathematical thinking to produce statements or conclusions based on existing facts. Mathematical reasoning is divided into creative reasoning and imitative reasoning. According to constructivism theory, the idea in mathematics should be built by students, therefore mathematics become logic, meaningful, and real. One of the constructivist learning models that facilitate students to actively discover their own concepts is CBI model. The study aims to know the effectiveness of the CBI model on teaching mathematics toward improving MCR. The research is conducted in the year 2019/2020 at junior high school one in Citeureup-Bogor. Two classes, as the sample of the research, the first class as experiment class,and the second class as control class, both of them consists of 36 students. The instrument used to identify students’ MCR abilities was an essay test on the polyhedron material. By using t-test analysis at a significant level of 5%, we obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) the value obtained was 0.018. Therefore, Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.018 < α = 0.05. It means that students’ MCR taught by CBI model is higher than students’ MCR who taught with conventional learning models.
This research aims to describe how many the increase scientific attitudes of students and teacher skills through guided inquiry assistance by circle board properties on pahlawanku theme in fourth grade of SD 1 Margorejo. Scientific attitudes are student attitudes that appear through scientific activities in learning. Guided inquiry is model of learning that involves students actively in learning process through research activities and inquiry systematically to answer a problem. Action hypotheses in this research are the application of guided inquiry learning models assistance by circle board properties can increase scientific attitude of students on pahlawanku theme in fourth grade of SD 1 Margorejo. This classroom action research conducted in fourth grade class of SD 1 Margorejo with 20 students as subject. Available two cycles in this research, each cycle consist of four stages, they are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The dependent variable is scientific attitudes, meanwhile the independent variables are guided inquiry learning models and circle board properties. Aggregation data technique that used is interview, observation, test, and documentation. The analyses data in this research is quantitative and qualitative analyses data. The result of this research shows that there is increase of student scientific attitudes measured by three aspects of learning. Scientific attitudes in cycle I on knowledge aspect is65%, attitude aspects is 2,81, and skill aspects is 2,96. The cycle II increased to knowledge aspect is 85%, attitude aspects is 3,33, and skill aspects is 3,38. It proves that student scientific attitudes can increased through guided inquiry assistance by circle board properties on pahlawanku theme fourth grade of SD 1 Margorejo. Based on the result of this classroom action research that have done in fourth grade of SD 1 Margorejo, the research concludes that student scientific attitudes can increase through guided inquiry assistance by circle board properties on pahlawanku theme fourth grade of SD 1 Margorejo. Therefore, the researcher gives suggestions are on applying guided inquiry learning models assistance by circle board properties, teacher must be more competent and innovative in improving student participations
