This article discusses the development of mathematics learning media in the form of interactive multimedia-based videos. Media development was carried out for learning flat-plane geometry on the topic of kites. The media development method used a descriptive approach through 3 stages, namely defining, designing, and developing by involving students of SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo as research subjects. The multimedia-based interactive video learning media produced was declared valid based on expert judgment both in terms of media and on material substance. In its application, there was a positive response from more than 70% of students who took part in the learning process. This shows that the multimedia-based interactive video learning media is good and suitable for use as a medium for learning mathematics.
Abstract:Reasoning based research generally examines the application of learning models or learning methods. So far, there are still rarely studies that examine the use of teaching materials to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to develop teaching materials related to the central angle and the circumference of the circle based on reasoning. The development model used is the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The analysis was conducted by involving students of SMPN 1 Kabila as research subjects. The results showed the quality of teaching materials was declared valid with a percentage of 75%. Practicality of teaching materials based on the results of student questionnaire responses reached very good categories with a percentage of 82.82%. This shows that reasoning based teaching materials can be used in the learning process. Abstrak:Penelitian berbasis penalaran umumnya mengkaji tentang penerapan model atau metode pembelajaran. Sejauh ini, masih jarang penelitian yang mengkaji tentang penggunaan bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar materi hubungan sudut pusat dan sudut keliling lingkaran berbasis penalaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi) dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Analisis dilakukan dengan melibatkan siswa SMPN 1 Kabila sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kualitas bahan ajar dinyatakan valid dengan persentase 75%. Kepraktisan bahan ajar berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa mencapai kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 82,82%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis penalaran dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran matematika bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Bangun ruang sisi lengkung yang dibahas, difokuskan pada topik tabung dengan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Gorontalo sebagai subjek penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi proses pembelajaran dan melalui angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran matematika bangun ruang sisi lengkung tabung mencapai kategori “sangat baik”, dengan indikator: kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran sebesar 84%, aktifitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif sebesar 84%, dan respon positif peserta didik terhadap multimedia interaktif sebesar 85%.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika SMP. Indikator yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan kemandirian belajar matematika antara lain: (1) mampu bertanggung jawab, (2) memiliki kedisiplinan, (3) mampu bekerja sendiri, (4) memiliki inisiatif, dan (5) memiliki kepercayaan diri. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari angket dan wawancara untuk memperdalam informasi mengenai kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika SMP. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 Kabila yang diambil berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa persentasi kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan predikat tinggi sebesar 17,39 %, predikat sedang sebesar 56,52%, dan predikat rendah sebesar 26,09 %. Selanjutnya diketahui bahwa faktor-faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika antara lain, ketidakmampuan siswa dalam menilai diri sendiri serta kurangnya inisiatif diri.
This article discusses the interest profile of mathematics students to find out how the interest profile of learning mathematics students of class VIII Junior High School 1 Limboto in the pandemic covid-19. The method used is the method of descriptive research. The sample used in this study amounted to 60 students who were divided into 30 students as online learning research samples and 30 students became offline learning research samples. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The utilization of learning interest data is done using a questionnaire with 5 measuring indicators, namely (1) feeling happy, (2) Interest in learning, (3) attention in learning, (4) involvement in learning, (5) knowledge in learning. The results showed that students of class VIII of State Junior High School 1 Limboto school year 2020/2021 have a high interest in learning mathematics, both students who follow math teaching online and offline.
