The recent study intends to describe the roles and the principles of integrating digital technology in education at the 4th Industrial Era. The integrartion is studied from mathematics education perspective. It is concluded that the basic principle of integrating digital technology in mathematics education is that the technology does not diminish students’ conceptual understanding or replace students’ intuitions in doing mathematics. Conversely, the technology is utilized to boost students’ conceptual understanding and maximize the development of students’ intuition in doing mathematics. It is identified that there are three didactical functions of digital technology in mathematics education, such as: (1) Technology for doing mathematics, that is the technology is incorporated as alternative learning media in doing mathematical activities; (2) Technology for practicing skills, that is the technology is utilized as a learning environment to master particular mathematical skills; (3) Technology for developing conceptual understanding, that is the technology is integrated as a learning environment to develop students’ conceptual understanding of specific mathematical concepts. This last didactical function is the most expected of integrating digital technology in mathematics education.
Anak-anak sangat dekat dengan permainan. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, permainan baik tradisional maupun modern selalu dilakukan anak-anak. Permainan yang dilakukan merupakan sesuatu yang dianggap wajib dilakukan sebagai sarana untuk perkembangan fisik motorik bagi Anak Usia Dini. Permainan modern yang sekarang ini sering dimainkan oleh anak-anak di perkotaan lebih cenderung mengasah kemampuan otak daripada kemampuan otot, oleh karena itu kepada para orang tua yang tinggal di perkotaan disarankan lebih memperkenalkan pada anak-anak mengenai jenis-jenis permainan yang lebih melatih kekuatan otot-otot mereka dan permainan tradisional dapat menjadi salah satu solusinya. Permainan tradisionalpun perlahan namun pasti mulai ditinggalkan, karena dianggap kuno serta melelahkan. Padahal jika ditinjau lebih dalam, beragam permainan tradisional secara langsung dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada anak-anak diantaranya berupa: 1) pembentukan fisik yang sehat, bugar, tangguh, unggul dan berdaya saing; 2)pembentukan mental meliputi: sportivitas, toleran, disiplin dan demokratis; 3)Pembentukan moral menjadi lebih tanggap, peka, jujur dan tulus; 4) pembentukan kemampuan sosial, yaitu mampu bersaing, bekerjasama, berdisiplin, bersahabat, dan berkebangsaan.Kata Kunci: Fisik motorik, Permainan Tradisional.
The fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) has become a major topic worldwide. The era of Industry 4.0 stimulates the advancement of science and technology through the Internet of Things (IoT), the Internet of Services (IoS), the Internet of Data (IoD) and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) which resulting in the creation of smart machines or autonomous robots. The era of Industry 4.0 gets rapid response worldwide, Indonesia is no exception. The Indonesian government appeals to the nation of Indonesia technology literacy in all aspects, especially on the aspect of education. Higher education is the driving force for change. One of the efforts undertaken by universities to prepare for the fourth industrial revolution can be done by character strengthening, so that science is not value-free and there is no statement that human as a robot with no conscience. Islamic religious education plays an important role in controlling the power of Industry 4.0 through character education. The result of this research is that character building is not only done in a formal education (educational institution), but non-formal education (parents, friends, and organization) also gives a big impact to the students. In facing the era of Industry 4.0, the character building from parents, educational institutions and government are needed.
Penyebaran virus corona meluas secara kilat bahkan di seluruh penjuru di dunia. Dengan adanya wabah pandemic covid-19 di tahun 2020 sampai saat ini memberikan dampak sangat besar, khususnya pada bidang pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, tentu saja seluruh masyarakat di Indonesia merasakannya. Akan tetapi, kegiatan pembelajaran harus tetap dilakukan guna menciptakan generasi emas penerus bangsa. Sehingga dalam memasuki era new normal ini, pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan baru terkait pendidikan yakni mengizinkan guna menerapkan proses kegiatan pembelajaran secara tatap muka di situasi new normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna melihat kesiapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tatap muka pada era new normal di MI At-Tanwir Bojonegoro. Pendekatan yang dipakai pada penelitian ini yakni metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan). Instrument dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu lembaga MI AT-Tanwir sangat baik dalam mempersiapkan pembelajaran menuju era new normal. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari 3 hal, yakni strategi apa yang akan disiapakan baik dari lembaga pendidikannya maupun dari para pendidiknya, metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan penerapan prokes dari pemerintah
