English language course institutions can be seen from two different perspectives, namely as an educational institution and a business institution. Both points of view are very interesting to study how financial management is carried out. This study is a qualitative research that aims to analyze the practice of financial management in nonformal educational institutions of the English language course Kind English Course in Kampung Inggris Pare, Kediri. The technique of collecting data is using in-depth interviews with the leader and founder of the Kind English Course and the financial manager who organize the finances. The results of the study are 1) The planning stage, internal meetings are held and the priority scale is determined, especially in supporting student learning materials, 2) The bookkeeping stage, the treasurer provides a backup book for recording security and is reported regularly to the leadership, and 3) Accountability Stage, Kindergarten financial reports. The English Course has not used the standardized report concept in accordance with SAK EMKM.. AbstrakLembaga kursus bahasa Inggris dapat dilihat dari dua sudut pandang yang berbeda, yaitu sebagai lembaga pendidikan dan lembaga bisnis. Kedua sudut pandang tersebut sangat menarik untuk ditelaah bagaimana pengelolaan keuangan dilakukan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktek manajemen keuangan di lembaga pendidikan non formal kursus bahasa inggris Kind English Course di Kampung Inggris Pare, Kediri. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan wawancara yang mendalam dengan pimpinan sekaligus pendiri Kind English Course dan bendahara yang mengatur keuangan. Hasil penelitian yaitu 1) Pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan rapat internal dan penentuan skala prioritas khususnya pada material penunjang pembelajaran siswa, 2) Tahap pembukuan, bendahara menyediakan buku cadangan untuk keamanan pencatatan dan dilaporakan secara berkala kepada pimpinan, dan 3) Tahap Akuntabilitas, laporan keuangan Kind English Course belum memakai konsep laporan yang terstandar sesuai dengan SAK EMKM.
Many schools are striving to continue with normal learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has greatly altered human life. Therefore, this study aimed to reveal the state of instructional management at Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school in Indonesia by recapping the challenges and changes teachers encounter. Descriptive methods and a qualitative approach were used to collect data from teachers working at Islamic boarding schools. Furthermore, a substantial portion of data was collected through in-depth interviews with five voluntary teachers. Based on the results, the success of instructional management should be the main focus in all the academic or religious activities at Islamic boarding schools. In addition, social, technological, and pedagogical challenges were experienced in implementing this new learning system. The sleeping arrangements in dormitories were disrupted due to the health protocols instituted to avert the adverse effects of the pandemic. Overall, different schools witnessed diverse challenges of varying magnitude.
<p><span lang="EN-US">The purpose of this study is to investigate the Mckinsey 7s Framework and its effect on school branding in the Islamic private school. </span><span lang="EN-US">The data collection method used observation, interview, and document study techniques. The primary data sources were from the school principal of Sokonandi Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Yogyakarta, while the secondary data sources were 7 teachers, 2 staffs, and school stakeholders. The data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman’s techniques, namely; data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study investigates the management system of an environment-based curriculum in senior high schools, specifically in Bandung City, encompassing elements of curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. Conducted as qualitative research, this investigation draws its primary data from the vice principal in charge of curriculum development. The data collection techniques employed include interviews and documentation, with the primary research instruments being observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and document analysis. The study was conducted at three schools: SHS 3, SHS 12, and SHS 20 Bandung, with teachers and vice principals serving as informants. The findings indicate that 1) curriculum planning involves all school members participating in the developmental process, 2) curriculum implementation refers to a pre-established learning plan (RPP) and Teaching Modules, with the theme of environmental appreciation conveyed organically, and 3) evaluation outcomes guide school decision-making processes, with subsequent actions being determined to enhance and foster participatory, effective, and efficient learning activities. This research holds implications for improving environment-based curriculum management in senior high schools, offering valuable insights for stakeholders striving to enrich learning outcomes and foster environmental consciousness among students.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kepemimpinan virtual pada lembaga pondok pesantren di Indonesia dalam upayanya mempertahankan budaya mutu di masa normalitas baru pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber dari penelitian-penelitian terdahulu tentang kepemimpinan virtual dan kaitannya dengan masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu penyortiran, pengorganisasian, dan penyuntingan. Setelah data berupa dokumen-dokumen yang dimaksud terkumpul lalu dilakukan analisis data dengan memberikan interpretasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian, antara lain: 1) kepemimpinan yang efektif pada masa dan pasca pandemi Covid-19, 2) kyai dan potensinya memimpin lingkungan virtual, 3) keadaan dan mutu pondok pesantren pasca pandemi Covid-19.
