The problem of poverty is related to various regional conditions, not only in rural areas but also in urban areas. Poverty in urban areas has its own characteristics with various factors that influence it. This study aims to determine the role of economic growth, inflation, and population growth on poverty level. This was a quantitative study with path analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study evidenced that economic growth had a significant effect on poverty level with a value (tcountof 2.896). Inflation (tcountof 0.096) and population growth (tcountof 0.726) had bo significant effect on poverty levels. Open unemployment rate variable (tcountof 1.721) and human development index (tcountof 1.255) also had no significant effect on poverty level. Based on these findings, efforts to allevite poverty level need to be pursued continuously by optimizing macroeconomic variables such as the rate of economic growth and controlling the inflation rate.
The billboard building is a billboard consisting of the billboard and the structural components that carry it and everything that is installed in the building. On the ground there is still a lot of installation and placement that is less in line with government regulations, and often disrupt road users that cause inconvenience. This study aims to identify the billboard building in Yogyakarta, which includes the type of advertisement, the type of building structure, and the point of the advertisement location scattered on the street.The research implementation is assisted by 6 students, divided for 3 segment of road. The survey was conducted on the road segment of Monjali, Kaliurang Street, and Gejayan Street, Yogyakarta. The surveyed data include the coordinates of the billboard building location, the billboard type, the dimension of the board, the dimensions of the pile, the construction connection, and the type of building material billboards. The method used is descriptive-evaluative analysis by describing the existing condition of embedded billboard and assess whether the existing condition of advertised billboard has been in accordance with the policy and standard of layout of advertisement.The results show that the organization of the billboard building has not been fully in accordance with the basic principles of advertisement arrangement, especially related to the placement and construction of the installation. This is also evident from the absence of harmony of billboard installation with the physical elements of road corridor (land use, circulation, condition of building, open space and pedestrian path). Pada kenyataan di lapangan masih banyak pemasangan serta penempatannya yang kurang sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah, dan sering kali mengganggu pengguna jalan yang menimbulkan ketidak-nyamanan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi bangunan reklame di Yogyakarta, yang meliputi jenis reklame, tipe bangunan struktur , dan titik lokasi reklame yang bertebaran di jalan.Pelaksanaan penelitian dibantu oleh 6 mahasiswa, dibagi untuk 3 segmen jalan. Survey dilakukan pada segmen jalan Monjali, jalan Kaliurang , dan jalan Gejayan, Yogyakarta. Aeromonas hydrophila is a cause of Motile Aeromonad Septicemia (MAS) disease in freshwater fish, which is often endemic and causes significant losses in a freshwater fish farming business. Aeromonas hydrophila belongs to the group of gram-negative bacteria and has a complex cell wall consisting of three layers, namely the outer layer in the form of lipoprotein, the middle layer in the form lipopolysaccharide and the inner layer in the form of peptidoglycan. GC-MS analysis of ethyl acetate extract of Nauclea subdita leaves was assayed in silico. Seven compounds from GC-MS analysis have potential as glycosyltransferase peptidoglycan inhibitors with highest probability of being active. Peptidoglycan glycosyltransferases play a role in the cell cycle, cell shape, and cell wall. In this study, we conducted a molecular docking of seven compounds for peptidoglycan glycosyltransferase. Binding Affinity Energy (Kcal/mol) of seven compounds was better than beta-lactam as a comparative control. The seven of fourteen compounds found also adhere to Lipinski’s rules on five criteria to indicate these compounds being safely used as oral drugs.
Purpose: Some industries whose products are considered to have a negative effect on health and environment, are categorized as controversial industries. Empirical studies in such studies have not been widely carried out. Design/methodology/approach: This study was carried out in a controversial industry to examine the level of employee collectivism in the face of various challenges in this industry. The number of samples is 150 people, with the method of non purposive random sampling. Respondents were taken from several cigarette factories in Kudus. The method of analysis in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis, with SSPS testing reliability and validity, correlation, hypothesis testing, simultaneous effect and the coefficient of determination. Findings: The results demonstrate that in this industry, employees are trying to increase collectivism to strengthen solidarity in the workplace. Practical Implications: This findings can be used implementatively for management to improve the elements supporting the strengthening of employee commitment and increasing collectivism in the workplace. Theoretically, this finding is useful to know more about industrial relations and human resource management in controversial industries. Originality/value: The study examines how individual commitments can unite employees to continue working in controversial industries, and whether individual commitment can strengthen fellow employee relations.
AbstrakBerawal dari ketidakpuasan guru terhadap alat praktikum di sekolah khususnya pada percobaan GGL Induksi yang dinilai kurang efektif, sehingga akan dikembangkan set praktikum Pembangkit GGL Induksi sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan set praktikum pembangkit ggl induksi dan mengetahui kelayakan teoritis set praktikum, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa setelah menggunakan set praktikum Pembangkit ggl induksi pada materi Induksi Elektromagnetik. Set praktikum Pembangkit ggl induksi akan dilakukan percobaan yang keseluruhannya digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ggl induksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima prosedur pengembangan yaitu studi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, dan test. Penelitian ini sampai pada tahap ujicoba produk. Hasil sementara yang didapatkan yaitu meningkatkan kecepatan gerak medan magnet dan tegangan yang didapatkan yaitu 9,1 mv , 10,2 mv dan 33,3 mv. Semakin cepat gerak medan magnet maka semakin besar tegangan yang dihasilkan.Kata-kata kunci: Pembangkit ggl induksi, Induksi elektromagnetik, Set Praktikum. AbstractStarting from teachers' dissatisfaction with the practicum in school, especially in terms of induced emf experiment which is considered not very effective, a practicum set of induced emf generator will be developed as an alternative learning media. This study aims to develop a practicum set of induced emf generator and determine the theoretical feasibility of the practicum set, the learning outcomes, and students' responses after using the practicum set of induced emf generator on the subject Electromagnetic Induction. Experiments will be conducted to determine the factors that influence the induced emf. The method used in this study refers to the research and development method with the ADDIE model which includes five development procedures namely the study of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation while the data collection is done by using a questionnaire and a test. This research has reached the stage of product testing. The provisional results obtained were an increase of the magnetic field velocity and the voltages obtained were 9.1 mv, 10.2 mv and 33.3 mv. The faster the magnetic field moves, the greater the voltage produced.
