Kajian ini mengeksplorasi oralitas dan ritual dalam memori kolektif dari perspektif sosiologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pertanyaan tentang bagaimana komunitas dalam masyarakat yang berorientasi lisan kuat menjaga memori kolektif. Sementara dalam masyarakat tertulis kanon merupakan wadah ingatan kolektif. Masyarakat berorientasi lisan yang kuat mempertahankan ingatan dalam kinerja lisan dan ritual. Oralitas menciptakan memori kolektif melalui pelestarian sejarah masa lalu. Kinerja ritual, membawa masa lalu kembali ke masa sekarang untuk mengantisipasi interaksi sosial di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, perangkat mnemonik berfungsi untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai komunal dan untuk mengirimkan narasi komunal ke generasi berikutnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan melalui perspektif Durkheimian untuk menjadi batu ujian untuk memahami ritual keagamaan dan memori kolektif dalam masyarakat yang berorientasi lisan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ingatan kolektif dalam masyarakat yang berorientasi pada lisan kuat diciptakan secara kultural melalui bentuk-bentuk oralitas seperti narasi, simbol lisan serta pertunjukan ritual keagamaan.
This article analysis about Teong Negeri has folklore centrality of community local name of Muslim-Christian socio-cultural network in Maluku. This study is qualitative research. Data were collected through interviews, documentary studies an observation. Methods analysis employed was descriptive qualitative. In the folklore of the village Wassu of Erihatu Samasuru (Christian), it has pela of the village of Haya Nakajarimau (Muslim) which means leader (older brother) for his three brothers, the village of Hatu Silalou (Christian) and the village of Tehua Lounusa Amalatu (Muslim). Communal narratives bind and become a link to give spirit to identity because society listens to local stories about Teong Negeri that have strong meanings, believing in each other. The four villages, in central Maluku, which are Wassu, Haya, Hatu, and Tehua, use the Teong Negeri symbol as an identity to maintain relations of kinship bond. The network that was built was challenged when the religious communal conflict happened, but the spirit towards the culture was always unheld. Teong Negeri became a symbol of central identity towards the traditional village that was able to regulate the socio-cultural system of every village in Maluku. not only for every community that has a bond of brotherhood or ethnicity. However, it becomes a universal symbol when, as a socio-cultural capital that is able to bridge the community from outside (buton migrants) based on cross-generation dialogue carried out by early generations of indigenous Maluku people with Buton migrants (migrants) in Maluku in order to have knowledge about the relationship harmonious.
This article addresses Pancasila as a text of interfaith dialogue in Indonesian context. The plurality of Indonesian society bears religious uniqueness in social life together, while conflicts may take place between religious groups. Religious conflicts are caused by attitude of exclusivism, radicalism, fundamentalism of religions and political identity. Pancasila can hold the sense collectivity among Indonesian society to be united. This article employs Gadamer hermeneutic theory in viewing historical texts. History is not something that only happened in the past and is interrupted with the present contexts. The theory of global ethics-Hans Kung, also helps the importance of dialogue with the religious communities to create religious peace. The article concludes that plural and multicultural society must live together in a dialogue circle. Pancasila as the text of interfaith dialogue is always understood as dynamic, open and relevant in the development of religious society in Indonesia. As the national identity, Pancasila has more than one conception as the lighters and guide toward each dialogue strategy that has been undertaken. The values of Pancasilamaintain inclusive religious attitude, respect to human values, and become a solid foundation in maintaining the unity of religious people.
