Pesatnya lonjakan teknologi digital dan ditambah dengan konektivitas internet telah menjadi pembelajaran bagi lingkungan dan memberikan peluang luar biasa pada pendekatan pembelajaran di abad ke-21. Sedangkan digitalisasi sangatlah penting dimasukkan ke dalam pengajaran, sehingga ketersediaan fasilitas harus cukup dan guru harus siap dengan keterampilan yang memadai. Sejalan dengan faktra tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun persepsi guru tentang keefektifan pembelajaran online selama pandemi COVID-19. Studi ini juga mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dan yang mendasari pembelajaran online yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei deskriptif; dengan target populasi 150 guru dan sampel diambil secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner survei sebagai instrumen utama pengumpulan data. Analisis data mengandalkan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, dengan data yang disajikan menggunakan tabel. Hasil studi ditemukan guru memiliki persepsi positif tentang pengajaran online meskipun banyak tantangan yang menghalangi keefektifannya. Rekomendasi tersebut menyarankan pengarusutamaan pembelajaran online ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan.
Leadership is one of the most important components in running an organization. Along with the rapid development of technology, leaders must have a strategy in carrying out their organization in order to achieve the expected goals, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. How the strategy that need will determine the fate of the school he leads. This study aims to determine how the principal's strategy in the digital era 4.0. This study used a qualitative approach and then it described in a narrative manner through critical analysis. The research respondents consisted of several teachers and school principals. The results showed that the principal's strategy to improve the quality of human resources was to increase the information. Communication technology knowledge of teachers and all human resources in schools; be a role model for his subordinates to be able to use technology in supporting work; adopt new useful information to be implemented; dissemination of important information on the benefits of technology to the guardians of students; work in a process and results oriented manner; master the 4C formula.
Although many research results discuss the problems of learning education during the COVID 19 pandemic, there has been no more specific and comprehensive research in discussing alternative strategies in online learning in primary schools during the COVID 19 pandemic. This paper seeks to provide a theoretical basis for alternative learning strategies that be used as a reference for elementary school teachers in learning online. The research conducted at elementary schools that domiciled in the city of Medan. The type of research in this paper is library research, with a conceptual approach and a comparative approach. The results of this study indicate that there are four strategies that are very relevant to be used in online learning in elementary schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely: 1) Guided Inquiry Learning, 2). Contextual Teaching Learning. 3) Problem Based Learning, and, 4) Student Active Learning. Of the four strategies, the teacher can choose one strategy that suits the type of material presented by prioritizing student needs.

Since the government implemented social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease, there were restrictions on gatherings, including in the world of education. This has an impact on teaching and learning activities in educational institutions were which originally face-to-face in class, changes to long distance education in a network with an online system. This education policy is a consideration based on a value system and several situational assessments, and is a management strategy that used as a guide in making decisions. Therefore, it is hoped that the creativity of teachers in providing learning so that the main goals of education can be achieved. In addition, assistance from the government needed to provide facilities that support the implementation of distance learning. That way, the implementation of distance learning can run smoothly and effectively.
