The role of the teacher as a facilitator to provide great service with the aim of providing convenience to students in teaching and learning activities, to realize teachers as facilitators, teacher needs to provide various learning resources and learning media that are relevant as well as make active learning, innovative, creative and fun. Whereas, the teacher as a communicator in teaching and learning activities that the relationship between the teacher and students is not only "top-down" but a partnership, through the partnership model the teacher will act as a guide and companion in teaching and learning activities so that created a delight and democratic learning atmosphere.

Along with the development of science and technology, Islamic education is challenged to participate in colouring and adapting the global world. This challenge is addressed differently; there are two attitudes in response to the development of western science and technology. First, cynicism towards the progress of the west. Secondly, appreciative attitude towards western progress. Both are used as benchmarks for the development of education. Islamic boarding schools appreciate the progress of western science from the good side by accrediting it that does not conflict with Islamic values ​​and still maintains Islamic scientific traditions.

As human live in the world, certainly will not become out from problem live that keep coming back. Therefore, education comes as a one of media to solv life problems experienced by each individual through the empowering of cognitive, affective and psychomotor potentials. However, in its development, the path of education is not always excellent. The various problems regularly occur in the world of education, especially correlated with students’ immoral behavior. The role of the teacher as a key subject who has a more dominant portion of time to communicate with students is super vital in its existence to solve the problem of behavior deviation. Therefore, high quality of educators is needed. Educators, who are not only competent in utilizing cognitive potential but also proficient in preparing students with the noble character through deep understanding of the nafs, qolb and aql.

Criticism of the world of education about the intellectual abilities of students that are not balanced with the attitude they have is never lost. Every time an immoral student act occurs, the glory of education is tarnished. In this connection, education is no longer the right place to foster moral and religious students. So, it is necessary to motivate students to be motivated to do the best. Various thoughts are offered to motivate students in kindness. One of them is the fostering of spiritual and social attitudes through schools, either through the intracuricular door or the extracurricular door.
