Comparison of economical analysis provides information against the level of profits until the feasibility on the ship building business in the Randuboto Village which in general used wood because it is considered more profitable than fiberglass boat. This assumption needs to be substantiated because unknown material are more profitable for manufacture of small ships to capture activity and other necessities. Therefore, the aim of this study is to provide an overview of the cost information and examine the feasibility of business from shipbuilding and ship wood fiber. Research methods using descricptive method with the techniques of sampling method using the census or sampling of satured. Based on the results of the analysis of all the parameters is shortterm i.e. profits and RC ration and long-term analysis with the parameters NPV, IRR, PP and Net B/C, it is unknown the ship building business wood and fiberglass are worthy to be developed but the shipbuilding venture fiber would be more profitable. ABSTRAKPerbandingan analisis ekonomis memberikan informasi terhadap tingkat keuntungan hingga kelayakan pada usaha pembuatan kapal di Desa Randuboto yang pada umumnya menggunakan bahan dasar kayu karena dianggap lebih menguntungkan dari kapal fiberglass. Anggapan ini perlu dibuktikan karena belum diketahui material apakah yang lebih menguntungkan untuk pembuatan kapal-kapal kecil untuk aktivitas penangkapan dan keperluan lainnya. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran biaya dan informasi untuk mengkaji kelayakan usaha dari pembuatan kapal kayu dan kapal fiber. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus atau sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari semua parameter-parameter jangka pendek yaitu keuntungan dan RC ration dan analisis jangka panjang dengan parameter NPV, IRR, PP, dan net B/C, diketahui bahwa usaha pembuatan kapal kayu dan fiberglass layak untuk dikembangkan tetapi usaha pembuatan kapal fiber akan lebih menguntungkan.Kata kunci: perbandingan ekonomis, keuntungan, kapal kayu, kapal fiberglass. Process monitoring of ship production in Indonesia is currently still using conventional methods. Ship production has stages, preparation to the erection. Each of these stages has results that need to monitor and their progress recorded. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system that fasts, practical, and responsive monitoring directly in the work area for actual conditions; one solution is a QR-code technology-based system. The design steps are making the basic framework, diagram of the relationship between entities, prototype design, central page division. These systems are formed in a website called Ship Building Monitoring Process based on QR-code SBMQ. Technical analysis is carried out by making applications, managing system security, creating business processes and operational systems, implementing them with simulations and trials. The trial application of the SBMQ website determines the contribution of implementing the website monitoring process of ship production. The trial was accompanied by the distribution of questionnaires from samples of shipbuilding practitioners. The SBMQ ship production monitoring system can accelerate review, tracking, and report verification assessment with practitioners is 3.125 with a good category.
Tujuan utama dari penelitian studi ini adalah untuk merancang aplikasi komputer berbasis android yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu aktivitas manajemen proyek di galangan kapal bangunan baru. Pertama, dilakukan observasi terhadap kebiasaan penggunaan manajemen proyek di galangan kapal. Kedua, dilakukan perancangan aplikasi komputer berbasis android untuk manajemen proyek pada galangan kapal dengan menggunakan mock up sebagai alat desain. Terakhir, aplikasi yang telah selesai diujicobakan kepada beberapa responden. Aplikasi ini memiliki dua akun yang dilengkapi dengan fitursepuluh area pengetahuan manajemen proyek. Aplikasi diujicobakan kepada beberapa responden yang terlibat dalam aktivitas pembangunan kapal baru atau memiliki latar pendidikan di bidang perkapalan. Dengan menggunakan metode kuisioner didapatkan hasil sebesar 78 % dari responden setuju bahwa aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu aktivitas manajer proyek.
In the shipping industry, especially shipyards which are used for building and repairing ships, a lot of labor is required. Due to a lot of labor, of course, makes the salary component to be a fairly large cost component in the company. Nowadays, many shipyards have turned to outsourcing-based shipyards, to reduce indirect costs. However, other shipyards have not yet become outsourcing-based shipyards, so the number of workers is still relatively large. The high number of permanent workers in a company indicates the effectiveness and efficiency of the workforce in the company is still lacking, so that the company will experience losses because the workload received by each workforce does not match the salary received by the worker. The research was conducted using the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method, which the components required for this method are the effective working days in 1 year and the effective working time in 1 year. After the analysis was carried out, the percentage of reduction in labor remained at 55%, and the percentage reduction in indirect costs is 38%.
