This study aimed to examine the relationships among synergistic cooperation between vocational schools and industries in the implementation of the apprenticeship program. It observed from support for industrial facilities (X1), technical guidance (X2), and the quality of graduates (Y) of culinary vocational school in Makassar, either directly or indirectly through the of competencies (X3). The study conducted at a culinary vocational school with a sample of 107 students. The data collected by using questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. It analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of the study concluded that: (1) cooperation synergies contribute simultaneously toward the mastery of competencies, and (2) industrial facilities support, technical guidance and competence provide simultaneously and significantly toward the quality of graduates
The study aims at discovering the influence of professional competence, the influence facility and infrastructure on the performance of lecturers, the influence of achievement motivation at Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar. Data collection techniques employed observation, questionnaire, documentation, and interview. The number of samples in this study were 147 people consisting of lecturers and teaching staff with a sample of 114 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 22 program to obtain the following research results: (i) based on the statistical calculation results α of X1 is 0.000 less than 0.05 then Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted, which means professional competence X1 turned out to significantly influence the performance of lecturers (Y) at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. (ii) Based on the results of statistical calculations, the α value of X2 is 0,000 less than 0.05, then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Thus the infrastructure (X2) significantly influence the performance of lecturers (Y) at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. (iii) Based on the statistical calculation results, the α value of X3 is 0,000 less than 0.05, then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Thus the achievement motivation (X3) turned out to have a significant influence on the performance of lecturers (Y). These results indicate that there is a very significant influence between the independent variables X1, X2 and X3 simultaneously on lecturer performance (Y). Thus the first hypothesis which states that professional competence (X.1), infrastructure (X.2), achievement motivation (X.3) simultaneously affect lecturer performance.
Globalization is currently making foreign food franchises more aggressively enter the market in Indonesia. This is very concerning because future generations have the potential to no longer recognize traditional foods that should be preserved as cultural heritage. Traditional food has a lot of diversity that has the potential to be popularized through the development of culinary tourism. This study aims to collect types of traditional foods in South Sulawesi, especially the Bugis and Makassar ethnic groups, using a qualitative research design. The total number of traditional foods found in the Bugis and Makassar ethnic areas is 481 dishes, which are dominated by traditional cakes, side dishes, vegetables, and staple foods. Language, urbanization, and transmigration between Bugis and Makassar ethnic groups have made many traditional culinary delights that have the same raw materials and production processes but have different names.
Motivasi belajar akan mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dan berpengaruh pada nama baik kampus sehingga peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa merupakan kewajiban bagi tiap lembaga pendidikan. Motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang tinggi akan menghasilkan hasil belajar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kuliah daring terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Aksidental Sampling, dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 206 responden dan 102 dari berbagai semester. (n=206, 86 laki-laki, 120 Perempuan). Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Motivasi belajar dan skala Kepuasan kuliah daring yang berbentuk skala Likert. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan Uji Regresi Ordinal yang didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai Nagelkerke sebesar 0,038. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepuasan kuliah daring terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa UNM di masa pandemi covid-19 dengan besar pengaruh 3,8%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan motivasi belajar dapat dintervensi melalui peningkatan kepuasan kuliah daring, semakin tinggi kepuasan kalih daring, maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar.
This study aims to investigate the contribution or the role of government (X1), industry (X2) toward vocational school (Y) and their impact to graduates' quality (Z) both direct and indirect contribution. It is a quantitative study. The population of this study was 335 Culinary and Hospitality students in Makassar. This study used proportional random sampling technique in selecting the sample of research and the result was 150 students. In collecting the data, questionnaire and documentation were used. This study employed descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of the research indicated that all path coefficients were significant so that the alternative hypothesis (ha) was accepted, with the following description: (1) there was a significant contribution of government role to the vocational school of 52.5%; (2) there was a significant contribution of industry to vocational school of 33.8%; (3) there was a significant contribution of the government's role to the quality of graduates of 29.8%; (4) there was a significant contribution of the industry to the quality of graduates in the field of expertise of 22.8% and; (5) there was a significant contribution of vocational school to the quality of graduates of 38.8%.
