This study is conducted to develop the diagnostic test, which can be used to measure the higher-order thinking skill (HOTs) of students of first-grade senior high school in Bima district, West Nusa Tenggara. The step of developing instruments such as test which using modification model of Oreondo which include two activities such as test designing and test trials. The analysing technique of validity of content used Aiken formula, classical test theory used software Iteman 4.3, the model of Rasch used software Winstep and analysing reliability used software SPSS. The conclusion which can be taken are developing instrument has the characteristics as a useful instrument and fulfil requirement used to measure. This case proved from the data of analysis result which confirm that the instrument has been achieved the content of validity by expert judgment and obtained the empirical evidence, both as classical test theory or Rasch model.

The analysis of the Test Instruments' quality is a crucial thing needs to be conducted. The test instruments made by teachers must fulfil the requirements (validity, reliability, and standard error of measurement) until the measurement result obtained can describe the students' actual abilities. This research aims to analyse the content validity (quantitative and qualitative), empirical validity, reliability, and standard error of measurement of semester final exam test instruments on Physics Grade XII Senior High School academic year 2017/2018 designed by teachers. The data analysis was based on 5 question documents (135 items) made by teachers and 555 answer sheets of the students at five schools. The research results show that teachers' ability in making the test instruments of the semester final exam is still limited. It is proven as a problem found through the representation of the analysis result based on the test of content validity, empirical validation, reliability and standard errors of measurement. It is suggested that school principals or the Educational Authority should hold effective training regularly and invite teachers to participate in it to sharpen their skills in making effective test instruments.
This study aimed to describe the skills of writing the text of the students 'short story review which was taught by cooperative learning model of TPS type and conventional learning model, describing the skill of writing the text of the students' short story which was learned through cooperative type model of TPS high reading habits, and students who were taught by using conventional learning methods that habitually read high on the students of class VIII SMP N 1 Pariaman and described the interaction between cooperative learning model of TPS type and reading habits to the skills of writing text of students in class V III SMP N 1 Pariaman. This research was a quantitative 2x2 factorial experimental design. The population of this research was the students of class VIII SMP N 1 Pariaman. Data collection was done through questionnaires and tests. Based on the result of research that cooperative learning model of TPS type influence the skill of writing text of short story. The skill of writing a review of students 'short stories taught by cooperative learning model of TPS type with high reading habits was better than the skill of writing the text of the students' short story which was taught by conventional learning model with high reading habit. There was no interaction between the TPS type cooperative learning model and reading habits in influencing the writing skills of short story text Keywords-effect, think pair share, conventional, reading habits, review text, short stories I.
