Kegiatan belajar secara daring mulai ditetapkan pemerintah sejak bulan Maret 2020 karena adanya virus Covid-19 yang menyerang dunia. Kebijakan ini dilakukan pemerintah untuk menghindari penyebaran Covid-19. Dengan adanya kebijakan tersebut maka terdapat perubahan metode dalam penyampaian materi yang harus digunakan oleh para pengajar. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknologi saat ini melalui daring selaras dengan penggunaan E-Learning pada era 4.0. Pada penerapan pembelajaran secara daring ini masih mengalami kendala terutama pada antusias mahasiswa untuk belajar mengalami penurunan. Untuk mengatasi kendala ini, salah satu cara yang menarik dan menumbuhkan semangat mahasiswa pembelajaran yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz. Aplikasi Quizizz ini merupakan media pembelajaran online (E-Learning) yang memiliki fitur game, kuis, diskusi, dan survei. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang aplikasi Quizizz yang memiliki manfaat sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif guna meningkatkan penguasaan dan motivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Mandarin secara daring dengan tidak menghilangkan kearifan lokal Banyumas. Peneliti bermaksud mendesain kuis dengan menerapkan ke sekolah-sekolah di Purwokerto yang memiliki pelajaran bahasa Mandarin. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan penilaian kuis pada aplikasi Quizizz. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran Quizizz proses pembelajaran menjadi mudah, menyenangkan dan bisa membantu siswa untuk memahami bahasa Mandarin. Selain itu, pembelajaran dengan menerapkan teknik bermain menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz sangat tepat bagi pembelajar pemula bahasa Mandarin.
Calung, Lengger, and Barongsai, abbreviated Calengsai, is a new-arising art appearing because of acculturation between communities, namely the Banyumas and Chinese people through adaptation. This adaptation is underpinned upon the teachings of each religion which teaches that every human being must be good to others. The aims of this study is to find the right solution to avoid the conflict and to analyse how culture can become the bonding element between religious communities This research was conducted in different cultural backgrounds and society that may elicit conflicts. There are several problems discussed in this research. First, how conflicts are resolved and how inter-religious relations are strengthened. Second, what the media is used to attach religious communities. To portray such issues, the writers conducted literary study, observation, and interviews. to analyse the data, the writers implemented the theory of cultural adaptation and cross-cultural communication. The result of this research is to provide an understanding that culture can strengthen the relationship between religious communities. To sum up, Calengsai has sociocultural values that arise as a result of cultural shifts in each society that can be used as an adhesive medium for inter-religious relations.
As a form of service in the field of tourism, this community service aims to prepare prospective graduates of the Taman Siswa Vocational School majoring in tourism to have basic skills in preparing travel plans for Chinese tourists. The number of Chinese tourists ranked second after Malaysia based on BPS data at the end of 2019 before the Covid pandemic, this must be balanced with an increase in good service or hospitality. One of them is by empowering tourism human resources who are able to speak Mandarin. This service activity is one of the efforts that can prepare students to be ready to enter the world of tourism, both during the new normal pandemic or when things have returned to normal. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the mentoring method. As a result of this training activity, the students succeeded in learning basic Mandarin in the tourism sector, and were able to develop a typical Banyumas travel plan in Mandarin based on the new normal of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Penelitian ini akan mengkaji teknik dan kualitas terjemahan konjungsi “namun” “dan” mahasiswa pada mata kuliah sosial budaya. Peneliti melakukan pengamatan pada terjemahan teks sosial budaya mahasiswa progam studi D3 Bahasa Mandarin Unsoed peserta mata kuliah terjemahan sosial budaya, lalu melakukan analisis terhadap teknik dan kualitas terjemahan yang muncul, serta menyebar kuisioner untuk mendapatkan saran dalam melakukan perbaikan terhadap sistem pengajaran khususnya terjemahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan didominasi oleh ambiguitas makna yang disebabkan kesalahan pemilihan kata konjungsi dan teknik yang digunakan belum sepenuhnya tepat. Hal ini terjadi karena salah satu faktor yaitu kurangnya komptensi mahasiswa terutama dalam menguasai kata dan konteks penggunaan terutama kata konjungsiThis study will examine the technique and quality of translation of the conjunctions "but" "and" students in socio-cultural courses. The researcher made observations on the translation of socio-cultural texts for students of the diploma Mandarin Unsoed study program, participants in the socio-cultural translation course, then analyzed the techniques and quality of the translations that emerged, and distributed questionnaires to get suggestions for improvements to the teaching system, especially translation. The results showed that the error was dominated by ambiguity of meaning caused by incorrect choice of conjunctions and the technique used was not entirely correct. This happens because of one of the factors, namely the lack of student competence, especially in mastering words and contexts of use, especially conjunctions
Translation as one of the elective courses at D-3 Chinese Language of Jendral Soedirman University is applied in the socio-cultural translation course. In this course, students are expected to master the translation techniques and can translate Indonesian text into Mandarin particularly text related to the socio-cultural theme. This research will study the students' translation relate in translation of conjunction in socio-cultural courses. The research aims to: 1) find out kind of conjunction and to describes the translation techniques used by the students in translating the socio-cultural themed text, 2) translation error and the impact in translation quality, 3) to find out the reason and solution for this problem. This is descriptive qualitative research where data are obtained from the observation on student' translation result of students' text majoring in D-3 Mandarin of Jenderal Soedirman University in socio-cultural translation course. Questionnaires and interviews are carried out to support the result analysis related to the learning system and the mastery level of translation techniques theory. There are 7 data of translation result about conjunction. The result of this research shows that there are 4 translation techniques used by the students namely, established equivalence, literal, deletion, and discursive creation.. Based on the results of the accuracy of translation result, the teaching method of translation course in D-3 Mandarin needs to be improved, especially in the selection of words in the target language and relevant theory with translation.
