he village of Blimbingan is one of the villages in Baturan village, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency. The Housewives of the village Blimbingan actually have the skill of sewing but the potential they have is not developed. There are 5 handyman in Blimbingan village so that many of the patchwork fabric that should be used, but the citizen of Blimbingan village does not know the benefits of patchwork. Patchwork fabric in Blimbingan village is more often discarded and burned so it pollutes the environment of the surrounding community especially air pollution, and also many still good batik patchwork that should still be utilized to be processed into goods that have a high economic value. The majority of the community of Blimbingan Village are less concerned about environmental issues, they do not know the benefits that will be gained if they are able to utilize patchwork, their view of not the importance of a supposed patchwork cloth should be changed so that they should be adapted by being given socialization and counseling. This community service aims to provide socialization as well as training on making accessories by utilizing patchwork waste in Blimbingan village as well as providing guidance to develop into a productive economic business in order to become a new opportunity for the group of Mothers-Housewives village Blimbingan. The methods used in this activity are by counseling, training, monitoring and mentoring. This community devotion activity is a partner of mother-housewife Group has effectively understood the utilization of waste patchwork for beneficial products such as the manufacture of accessories and many people in need. Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam keefektifan sebuah pembelajaran terlebih di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi. Kurangnya bahan ajar tentunya dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran atau perkuliahan. Tujuan dari pengembangan modul ini yaitu 1) untuk menambah pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai tri ciri tentara pelajar yang mana akan dikembangkan di dalam mata kuliah belajar pembelajaran sehingga mahasiswa benar-benar menjiwai, memaknai dan bisa mengimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di kampus dan diluar kampus, 2) untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau researh and development. Pengembangan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE (analysis, design, development, impementasi and evaluation). Berdasarkan keseluruhan penilaian produk oleh ahli materi dan pembelajaran diperoleh skor X = 265, yang termasuk dalam kriteria nilai “Sangat Baik”. Sedangkan keseluruhan penilaian produk oleh ahli media diperoleh skor X = 167, yang termasuk dalam kriteria nilai “Sangat Baik”.
Mastery of English languages is vital in preparing graduates to compete on a global scale in order to improve the quality of human resources in the world of education. As a result, efforts to improve English mastery for the academic community are evidence of an institution's seriousness in realizing its commitment to international standard institutions. The Covid-19 pandemic is currently affecting a variety of industries, particularly education. The Study from Home (SFH) system has now been adopted by many educational institutions. This, however, isn't enough. Many parents express their dissatisfaction with having to accompany their children to their home study sessions. This is not a major issue for students from upper middle-class families, as their parents will almost certainly provide facilities and private tutoring. Students from lower-middle-class families have a different situation. They must learn to be self-sufficient within the confines of their current circumstances. One of the private vocational schools in Central Java is SMK Warga Surakarta. Students in this school have difficulty understanding English sentences, according to the results of interviews with English teachers. As a result, English language training is required at SMA Warga in Surakarta to improve students' comprehension.
Waste of household waste becomes a problem in the environment of Blimbingan village because there are many household waste waste that accumulate and pollute the surrounding environment. Household needs products mostly plastic waste where plastic waste (inorganic) handling is relatively more complicated than organic waste, because inorganic waste can not be degradable naturally. Inorganic garbage originating from the household of Blimbingan village various such as plastic waste packaging of a household products, Kresek, aqua bottles are many of which are not utilized and only dumped in the trash. The villagers of Blimbingan, Baturan, especially mothers are less aware of the dangers posed by each day they continue to throw away their household garbage. This dedication activities aims to provide counselling and training of handicraft-value, valuable and economical value by utilizing household waste in Blimbingan village and provide guidance on how to sell to increase family income and can be a new job opportunities for the mothers of the village Blimbingan, Baturan. The methods used in this activity are by counseling, training/practice, monitoring and mentoring. Based on several series of events can be concluded that (1) of all participants carried out in the home mom Lurah in Blimbingan village is increased by 95% in terms of understanding and mastery of handicraft-like bags, flowers made, plastic bottles used for the category of good pencils. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Model pembelajaran PQ4R with Pop Up terhadap kreatifitas belajar siswa pada kurikulum 2013 mata pelajaran tematik kelas V dan seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Dari tujuan tersebut maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian subyek penelitian dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Kelompok kontrol diberikan model pembelajaran konvensional sedangkan kelompok eksperimen diberikan model PQ4R with pop up, kemudian diambil data kreatifitas belajar mata pelajaran tematik dari kedua kelompok. Data kreatifitas belajar mata pelajaran tematik pada kedua kelompok dianalisis menggunakan SPSS untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Dari analisis data diperoleh 0,000 atau < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa: Ho di tolak dan menerima H1 atau dengan kata lain ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran PQ4R with pop up terhadap kreatifitas belajar mata pelajaran tematik siswa kelas V. Dari uji regresi dengan SPSS didapatkan nilai R sebesar 0,786 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh yang kuat antara model pembelajaran PQ4R with pop up dengan kreatifitas belajar mata pelajaran tematik kurikulum 2013 dan dari nilai R square didapat nilai 0,625 yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran PQ4R with pop up berpengaruh positif terhadap kreatifitas belajar mata pelajaran tematik sebesar 62,5%
